Have you ever wanted to play God and control people? Now you can.
The Sims is an amazing game. In this game, you play God and control your sims to help them advance and have a dream life, or maybe just the opposite.. You decide! It's extremely entertaining to get your sims to have fun, eat, sleep, go to work, be READY for work, get promotions, get married, move, and socialize. The games ability to add in events(burglars, weddings, military school ect) makes sure that it doesn't get too boring.
I remember when I discovered the game.. My brother's friend lent it to him for his PC and I was lucky enough to play it. Well he had to give it back, but I finally bought a mac version on eBay! Can't wait to start playing again.

This game is the best from cooking, to dating, to just fun. This game is a must for your collection. I am serious! Fun and very addictive!

All I can say is that this is the best game I've ever played.

Since you can do whatever you want and there's no real way to "win," there is no repeated gameplay aspect... it's like a new game every time you play...

I agree with previous reviewers. For no explainable reason I am addicted to this "game". Tinkering with the lives of these electronic people must satisfy some God craving.

I have all the expansions excepted Unleashed and have downloaded lots of addpons from the Internet. The open architecture makes this game endlessly playable.

There is nothing more to say about this game. If you are thinking about buying this game, stop thinking and click on the add to cart button now! Simply put, this is the best sims game ever developed for the Mac or any computer for that matter.

I've played the sims over and over again, and it is just so much fun. Make a family, editing everything from their personalities to their clothes, build them a house, get them jobs, and even have them interact with other sims who you've created!

Recommended for Control Freaks everywhere ;)

This game lets you do almost anything. Its hours of fun and has real life stuff! Try it, when you do play Sims you can't get away from it! Great Game!

the sims is a very addictive game, i have only had it for a couple of days, and i can't keep my hands off it. it is all the sim games combined, not only can you create a family, and control their every move, but you can build their (or your) dream house, either by just furnishing an existing house, or build one from scratch, using the awesome architectural tool. though all the controls may seem a bit confusing at first, they are really very simple to master. overall, i'd say that the sims is a very worthwhile game to buy.

This game is truly great. It allows complete control of a Sim family. You can create your own sim families, and play God. What more could you want in a computer game?

Finally a game that makes you incharge and lets you create the people. I would say it was worth buying the sims, because it is some thing me and my brother can finally agree on and it is FUN.
