Fun, but addictive

This is a elaborate game, with many details, and it quickly becomes addictive. I only notice one somewhat annoying flaw. With the complex animation, sometimes it takes the Sims ten minutes or more to make a bed or walk from one end of the house to another. This create problems, especially with maids in a big house, as they pay by the hour.

I just got this game yesterday on Christmas morning. I played it instantly because me and my friend always play it at her house. Well, I didn't have to install it because we brought my friend's game over here and installed it here too. That way, when I got the game I wouldn't have to. Overall, the game was pretty good. I mean, it gets boring after at least an hour of gameplay and in the morning if your sims have jobs they only have a minute to take a shower, have a quick breakfast change for work and get out the door by nine. Also, WARNING! Zombies DO come out of the ground. They are all green so yu know what to look out for. Luckily they dont eat your sims brains but they do try. I found that out while my sim jessica was mourning at the graveyard next to their house.

this addictive game is everything you would is expect from will wright and ea you can ruin this game by using cheats (by pressing ctrl+shift+the button left of the space bar+c)such as klapaucius(pc) or rosebud(mac) but it is fun getting loads o' money and building your perfect home buy this gme if your interested in designing or building stuff.This game is even better if you have livin' large or houseparty.10/10

Another great Sim game is the Sims. Its fun intresting, and teches you about people. Its not a great game for young kids because it has nudity in it, but besides that its a really good game for all ages.

Wow I was expecting to love this. Unfortunatly that didn't last long. The problem is that there isn't enough time in the Sim's day
to do everything they need too. To keep my Sims going to work and paying the bills they got behind on socializing and got so
depressed that they wouldn't answer the door when a visitor came over.

The real problem is that if left alone they would never do anything that they needed to (like work), so you can't leave the game
going overnight unattended - like other Maxis games.

This was the first computer game I ever got and it was the bomb! It was great in all 4 corners. But one thing I didn't get was why don't the people just speak english. Anyhow this game was the BOMB!

This is the coolest sim game Maxis has ever made! It is fun and addictive to play. All you Mac owners finally have a great game to play! I recommend this game to everyone, buy it now!

I'm a late bloomer and just got this game with the expansion pack 'Livin' Large'. I just didn't want to pay $50 for it for Mac and finally found it on ebay. I can't tell you how much fun I'm having! I'm still on the tutorial and will play that until I can really get a feel for the game. I dreamt about my sims, I became so addicted in such a short amount of time. I haven't found any drawbacks yet. The only thing is I can't seem to figure out how to delete windows, and I'm not sure how to build upper floors.

The game is great, and not only does it take up hours in game play, it takes up hours in figuring out what to do -- which is a good thing because Sims are smart, and the way they interact and react is hilarius. You have to keep an eye on them though, my male Sim was heading to the TV when he was supposed to be going to work and I had to redirect him. But it's SO MUCH FUN, I can literally stay up until two and three am playing. Some reviewer posted a money cheat and I'm going to try it because it takes my Sims too long to make money for me to make them happy. They ask me for stuff I can't afford to give them until THEY bring home the dough. Again, EXTREMELY FUN AND ADDICTIVE TO PLAY, and not for anyone who doesn't like to sit at a computer playing for long hours or who wants to just dive in and play without learning some standards first or understanding complex game play. This is better than Zoo Tycoon (for mac). I wish I had more games like this (for mac) to compare it too. I want Sims 2 for mac!

I love the sims game! I have some other sim games and I love them all! The sims is such a fun game to play. You can't lose or win. It's like real life! You get to choose what your sims moods are and what they're appearance will look like. You can even create a sim that looks like yourself and control your own life in the sims! It's truly fun! Then they have objects that you can use. It's fun watching the sims enjoy or totally hate their lives. And it's all up to you! Then they have a camera mode where you can take pictures and make up your own family album or stories! It's a real fun game to play. But once you try it you'll never want to get off. It's just too fun. And if you are the one who loves to create things and people then sims is the one for you! I've never really played a game as fun as sims. Then to make it even better they create expansion packs to go with them so you could have more choices for your sims! It's cool!
