The Sims: like real life? No. But fun.

This game may seem stupid and silly at first,but is really quite fun. It may seem like real life on the box, but there are many differences. I mean, can you imagine buying a house for 40,000 or so, and pay it all right on the spot with no mortages for the rest of your life? We all wish! Also, are you able to got to bed at 4:00 in the morning, only to go to school or work at 6:00? However, this game was quite fun. After all we all need an escape once in a while. Controlling the Sms and making them a perfect vision of your dream family was a control freak's dream come true.

So glad its for Mac too!

I love games where you have to plan, where you get to play "god," and where you get to watch the tiny choices play out in grand ways. "The Sims" allows you to do all three. Ok, I don't play fair, I use a cheat code to get more money for my Sims but my goal is to have fun and more money can equal more fun at least in this game. The choices in clothes and careers are a bit limited (they improve that in expansions and you can find things online but its difficult for Macs). What I really like is that I can build my own homes and try and make human connections. Sometimes the game is a bit boring but you can let the Sims live on their own, you may not like what they do but I've noticed that if you "train" them long enough they do fine but probably won't improve their jobs or friendships much. There is some glitch that wiped out my upstairs of one home -- suddenly my Sims can't use their stairs at all so the children's rooms are useless. If anyone knows what might be wrong, please let me know; I've add "Livin' Large" and "Hot Date" but still can't use that stairs!

I have a very big imac and bought this game 'cause i heard it was in town. i like this game because you get to buld a house. i get free money by typing in roseblood. this is a cheat. this game is the best i have and is also the only because mammio only let me have one of the games i wanted which was pajama sam and this. i like this game. buy it.

We think the sims is the best game for the computer! it is a lot of fun and it is worth your money. You should try it! It is alot better with the expansion paks too! So try it if you have not already!

look people this game is cool and all the things you can create but stop!!!! before buyiing don't buy only the sims buy an expancion pack because after a while you want more and you would like better houses and all of that I recomend you to buy "living large" or if you like dates you should buy hot date but stop and think research to see what you would like that your sims do but please don't buy only the sims because its very limited and belive me you would like more

other than that the game is great

a great game but i only got to put the kid on a bus and the dad went to work!!!

because i had to go home after going to my sister's and niece's house i saw it and asked to try it and instantly just like that: i was hooked right when the title screen popped up i've never been addicted to anything in my whole life! but my people lived on the street because i wanted to build their house.

This game is so cool because you can build your own houses, and furnish them with all these different objects, then you can make people and put them in your house. You watch them do their thing, or you can tell them what to do. Ex. eat, go take a dump, read a book, go play pinball, talk to someone. It's really cool. And, you get jobs that eventually you'll get promotions, and the money you make from it, thats what you use to buy all the things. All I have to say is, you have to buy this game, it is the best game I've ever played!
