I won't comment much on how much fun the game is (lots), but I wanted to note that this is one of the few games that will install and run on a machine with less video memory than "required". My 8MB laptop machine came up with a note that it was defaulting to software emulation and reducing video settings. The picture isn't high resolution, but it plays fast and smooth. The picture is still clear enough to play. Thank you EA for allowing those of us with lower end systems to still play games!
Enjoyable but not satisfying

It was a nice experience playing this game but it does not match up to Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets game.
GOOD POINTS:-
>The variety of wizard cards encourages you to collect them.
>Collecting Potrait Passwords are great fun.
>You can collect a variety of things (beans, pumpkin pasties & cauldron cakes) in large amounts to buy cards, potrait passwotds etc. from Fred and George's shop.
BAD POINTS:-
>You have to play spell challenge after challenge and spell exam after exam. This can get on your nerves.
>The grounds are designed well but the castle is not as "explorable" and fun as in the second game.
>You cannot make potions.
It is a really nice game but could be made a bit better.

I loved the first two games very much and played each twice, and was really looking forward to playing this one. I was unpleasantly surprised after loading it to find that my computer (bought brand new just a year ago) did not meet the video driver requirements-causing the quality of the "best ever graphics" to be significantly reduced. I figured that since the other games had worked so well, that this one should be fine. I was very wrong. Though I can play it, it is so blurry that it causes headaches. Lesson learned- Be absolutely sure your PC meets these very specific requirements-otherwise, don't waste your $25.
Big disappointment

After buying and enjoying the first two games in this series, we were eagerly anticipating the arrival of the third installment. But, we were very disappointed. Game play was very short. We were able to go through the entire game in about a day.
I'd save your money and avoid this game. Hopefully, EA will do a better job with the next version.
A must-buy game

I loved playing this game, and since I've never played another HP game I have to say itwas the best.
this is why I liked it:
1)THE GRAPHICS ARE INCREDIBLE!!
2)bean,pumpkin pasty,& cauldron cake collecting is great fun
3)the ice slide in Harry's glacius challenge was a bit like the 1 in 3D Mario
4)you get 2 fly around as a mini,fire-breathing Dragon in the Draconifors/Lapifors challenge, which is really cool!
5)great mini-games like Hippogriff ridin' which is a bit challenging but great fun!
6)cool secrets 2 discover
7)you get to fit the controls the way you like them
some things I thought could be improved:
1)some things were not explained fully such as HOW Wormtail betrayed Harry's parents.
2)the great hall was missing
Overall:this was an excellent game, the explanations were not full, but otherwise I
loved it.

I had problems getting my microsoft joystick to work with this game (on PC). So I contacted eagames help. They told me that it is simply not compatable with game controllers on PCs. A bit pathetic I think. Particularly after the problems before with XP incompatability with Philosopher's Stone and given the clear profits to be made with the Harry Potter games franchise, I think it's about time EAgames got their act together.
Just Finished!

What a great game..! The graphics are vastly improved, the game play is fun and varried, without being too difficult for younger players. While I found it almost too easy, it is aimed towards younger players and should provide enough of a challange without being frustrating to them. Looking forward to the next installment!
