OH MY I'M IN AWE... I HAVE SO MUCH 2 WRITE, 1ST I'M IN AN AVID FOLLOWER OF THE "MORTAL KOMBAT EXPERIENCE", (Y'ALL COULD NEVER IMAGINE)!!!! YOU KNOW BEFORE I EVEN HAD THE PS2 SYSTEM ITSELF, I FOOLISHLY BROUGHT MK DEADLY ALLIANCE 4 PS2 FOR $55.00 @ WALMART... *I DON'T REGRET BUYING IT, HOWEVER I DO REGRET PAYING THAT MUCH & NOT WAITING UNTIL THE PRICE WENT DOWN!

I SO WISHED THAT ARMAGEDDON WOULD'VE HAD THE "CHESS KOMBAT" (I LOVE IT) & THE PUZZLE (MKA WOULD'VE BEEN PERFECT)! 1 OF THE REVIEWERS SAID THAT ARMAGEDDON IS JUST AN UPDATED "MK TRILOGY" & THAT'S AN ACCURATE ANALOGY, BUT TRILOGY IS SO 2 DEMENSIONAL (I LOVED IT SO MUCH @ THE TIME, BECAUSE IT HAD ALL OF THEM) UNTIL MK4 ARRIVED! NOW W/ MKA ALL OF THE OLDER MK GAMES ARE OBSOLETE... The Elder Gods have foretold a time when the kombatants would become too powerful, and would lead to the destruction of the realms as we know them. The fate of the warriors is in the hands of brothers Taven and Daegon, who are competing in a quest to see who can defeat the boss (Blaze) first, and become supreme ruler of the realms.

Let me start off by saying that this game is exactly like Deception, but with Air Kombat and more fighters. This may be a letdown for some, but its the best we can get for just waiting one year. It's a very very fun game. There are many pros to it. The Air Kombat feature really speeds up the gameplay and adds a new strategic element to the fighting. As well, there's a fantastic and fun new feature called Motor Kombat. This is a Mario Kart-esque racing game featuring ten popular MK kharacters. There are special moves for the kharacters, and stage fatalities...but the amount of tracks is way too small, and gets annoying after a while. You may find yourself playing this a few times with your favorite kharacter and never look at the feature again. Next, we have Kreate-A-Fatality. Despite what people say, this is actually a great feature. It tests your speed as well as the amount of blood you can spill in a set time. Also, we have the brand spanking new feature, Kreate-A-Fighter. The only drawback? you can only make one kharacter per profile. But the hundreds...possibly thousands...of accessories more than compensate for this. You'll have a blast kreating people like Abraham Lincoln, Mr.T, and even some well known horror movie villains. Lastly, we have the new and improved Konquest feature. It's pretty good, but is too short and some of the missions you must do are indescribably frustrating. If you're like me, you'll find yourself slamming down the controller and cursing at the top of your lungs. Other than that, it's okay. The voice acting is a little better than Deception's, but it still falls short.

Overall, this is a very fun game that should keep you playing for a long time, just don't expect something completely new. Perhaps in the next generation games...

As far as game play, this is the best MK game ever. Air Kombat is a great addition to the 3D style of game play. Plus some characters look great that have neverr been in a game since MK Trilogy.

I have no problems with actual gameplay (like i said, best MK game ever), but Konquest mode is kind of short (i beat it in like 4 hours), and the invisible chests are really annoying, and so are the Relics. Plus, if u miss something you have to start konquest all over again instead of simply going back to that spot (like in deception). Konquest wasnt all bad, the story was awesome, and the characters that taven meets in his quest are very impressive.

Finally we MK fans get Kreate a Fighter. Many MK fans (like me) have been waiting for this for over 10 years. The amount of options in KAF are great, the only problem with this is that you cant save your characters look, and change it at your whim. if you change your look and want the old look back, you have to start from the beginning every time you want a new look. KAF other than that is amazing, you can make a move for every button, and customize your weapon style as well.

MK online is awesome, and is a great community of MK players waiting to fight you (as well as yor KAF)

Ed Boon and co. worked very hard to make this the best fighting game on current generation consoles, and the results do not disappoint. A must have for any hardcore or leisurely gamer.

Great mindless gameplay I love kicking the snot out of the other fighters butts but the best part of the game is that you can use your envierment as a weapon too! and use anything as a weapon too! I mean this is one game where you can impale your enemy with a thorn bush. beat them to death with a paddle. grind them to death in a huge grinder. inject snake venom into a fighter. throw them into a big thorn filled bush. break their head open with a rock. smash their head agenst the ground. throw them into a creek. throw them into a deadly river. drown them in water. and so on and so on but its a great game.

This is a very good game, a must have for any die hard fan. Midway went all out for this game. The graphics are awesome and the game play is just like the previous MK titles. The only draw back is that with over 60 characters the fatalities are not the same, however the new kreate-a-fatality system still gets the job done. Online play and Motor Kombat is great as well.

This is a great game. I love the graphics. There are tons of characters to choose from and many different moves to get. I really enjoy this game.
