This is one awesome game. the graphics are so great! You really have to calculate every turn before you make them! Every good car is a lot of munny so you really have to work for them ( Except the dodge viper 83,000) This is one awesome game. The only thing that could make it better would be if there was a person in it like in Project Gotham Racing for Xbox. Every part of the game is great. This was one of the first games I got for the PS2. The other 2 were Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex (why did naughty dog sell it) and Jak and Daxter (i see why naughty dog sold crash!) The only game i really was gran turismo 3 it was that good. Not saying that jak and daxter is not a great game. peace out

I'm not a gamer, but my kid rented this game and I just love it. My favorite is the dirt rally mode; the way the car reacts to brake, throttle and steering inputs is about as real as it gets. If it was any more realistic I'd be dead (or at least seriously injured).
If you want to pick up hookers on the street, get something else. If you want the thrill of racing a real car, this is it.

Ole! Here comes the mother of all racing simulations on the ps2, with some outstanding graphics, gameplay and sound! I really loved it! And for one reason I should say I'M NOT DRIVING A CYBERCAR, A REAL CAR! The game is totally awsome, the controls are totally fluid and easy, the gameplay is amazing with a neat AI, and the graphics are reaally goregous! Now tell me what other driving simulatons can compete with this one? Nothing. All other racing simulation games are like YIKES! So for this reason I should tell Polyphony Digital keep up the good work! Amazing game!

This game is great for if you palyed the pervious Gran Turismo games.It is much more better then the other two.You will like it once you played it.A few months ago, I had a friend who really like Xbox.He played it and he liked it.I would give it to anywon.

Starts out slow in the beginning but once you start building and winning you can't stop playing. A must have for car lovers and the graphics are awesome as well.

I would just like to point out for the review above, that although Sony did not obtain a Porsche license for the game, they did obtain a RUF license...as those who played GT2 will remember, RUF is the company that rebuilds Porsches into sick high performance race cars. :)
