This is a must get game. The ASB series has made a big improvement. This game has alot of features some of the are updatable rosters u can also make an expansion team.This game also has very good graphics. My Favorite part is the franchise they have added alot of stuff that the previous games did not have. This game brings u more involved with the ASB Franchise mode. U have to get this i already preorder mine

This game has a lot of things to do. If you visit the acclaim sports website you can take a tour of the game. This game is the best baseball game I've ever seen. I wolud like to say one more thing. That is, My name is Dutch, I love you very much, My name is Dutch, Oh Ohhhhhhhh. I'd also like to say that swiss people rock.

If Hector from the Bronx has already "preordered" that would seem to indicate he doesn't have one yet. Than how could he make comments about the graphics being great?????

This game is awsome! The graphics are great and the gameplay is realistic, complete with signature batting stances and facial expressions this game has definately stomped out the efforts made by EA, Sega, and 989. Another thing, All Star Baseball 2004 has the best stadium graphics that I've ever seen. It also has throwback uniforms for every club and my favorite mode: PICK UP GAMES. This is a must buy and worth the $50!

im a franchise mode junkie, and love raising home-grown top prospects. This game has it all including the top 50 prospects ratings in the minor leagues. great graphics, gameplay. and the backround music is the greatest baseball music of all time!!! THA THEME SONG FROM THE BASEBALL MOVIE CLASSIC "THE NATURAL" o man it gave me chills. the game has it all, roster updates, pick up game which is like sandlot ball. its best baseball game to date, best asb ever. highly recommended!!!

Just got the game and have been playing for a little bit now. Unbelievable!!! The graphics, sound, commentary, crowd are amazing. Real to life. I have been onboard with ASB since 2002 and this is many many times above last years game. Very possibly the best baseball game ever.

...this game truely does rock, the gameplay is outstanding, i would say the graphics are the same as 2003, but again the graphics were good in that. The rosters are pretty much updated but again, it's only spring training now in real life and alot of these guys won't be on the roster. And i think adding alot more hall of famers was a good idea too...

First i am going to start off by saying that ASB 2004 is the best game ever. Like that other guy said you can take a tour on [url]. The tour is reall easy to use and it is like you are acullay playing the game.
Now for the game itself. In ASB 2003 the graphics are good but in the 2004 editon it looks like you are standing toe to toe with the person. The game modes are incredible. They have the new stadium tour witch has Derek Jeter himself tells you about each stadium in the MLB. Next is the Expansion mode, in this edion unlike in 2003 you can choose your teams name by choosing one of the maskotts. What i mean is is that they show you the masksott itself. The franchise mode lets you choose any team and take them up to i think 20 seasons with retired players and free agents. There are so many other features that i can't tell you because there is so many of them but one feature has improved and thats the creat-a-player mode.
I hope you have this review helpful and you should bye this game when it comes out or preorder it like i did.

All-Star Baseball 2004 Hit a Homerun

I just bought this game today and it is the best of it's kind in my opinion. It tops High Heat Baseball by a large margin. For one, Acclaim's new game has loads of new features and also many more game modes.One such mode is scenario mode which is where you change the outcomes of some of the tense 2002 games. For true baseball fans and not those looking for a game to entertain such as mlb slugfest,I would have to rate gameplay a 10 out of 10.Unlike what other reviews have stated,I believe every baseball game or of sort should have some challenge to it. If that challenge means striking out ten times and having to hit and run in order to win a game than thats it.I've played MLB Slugfest and in that you can hit homeruns left in right. It's way too easy and not real! You'll learn from your mistakes in ASB and might want to get on the field a few hours early for batting practice sometimes during the season.On the other hand,the graphics in ASB are also very realistic. I was shocked to find the stadiums in so much detail. Take a tour of the fields to get an idea of where you might want to sit on your next trip to Yankee Stadium. What i am saying is Acclaim seemed to have put a lot of effort into the making of this game. It's into depth franchise mode goes there and beyond. (30 seasons!) Not to mention all of the managerial moves you can make. During the offseason you may watch some of your players hang up their hats while others receive a ballet for Cooperstown.I would highly recommend it over all of it's competitors and it's definitely worth the price./!

I don't really like this game the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the franchise mode is awesome. I hate playing the games.
