I thouroughly enjoyed the many hours spent playing Myst 3:Exile. Breathtaking graphics that make it more real than Myst and Riven. It carries through the story line and even though the new character is added, it still has that vibrancy. Being that there are 5 seperate ages means that the game has five different worlds. Very complex and very different from each other. J'nanin (1st age) carries through the same land scape as Riven, Ameteria (another age) carries through the theme of myst, Voltaic (3rd Age) is completely mechanical (very cool), Eddana (My favourite age) is completely organic (ausome) and Nyryan is myst 3's little zing of it all. The music is so increadable I'm buying the soundtrack and the characters are great. Its worth you money and time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

AWESOME!

Myst 3 is better than Myst and Riven! The environments are absolutely spectacular, and the gameplay is fantastic! Once you get absorbed in the game, it's hard to stop playing it. Try playing this one at night, while you're alone, and you'll experience the full effect of the game. The best part is, you never know what you're going to find, and every part of the game is important in one way or another. The music is awesome, also (especially the main theme). Give this game a try, and be intigued by the ages and environments you explore!

Ok this was the best myst this far. In this game to solve the puzzels you must keep your ears as well as eyes wide open. The in game movies are like going to 6 flags park. Buy It you will love it if you even slightly like puzzles.

This has got to be one of the most intriguing, well-made games (with such great graphics!) since... well... Riven. Each world is very detailed and beautiful. The puzzles are very complicated, yet solvable. Brad Dourif is one of my favorite actors, and I love him in this. My personal favorite age has got to be Amateria. Fantastic! VERY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.

Take your time and enjoy this unbelievable game

I started really getting into games 20 years ago, when my son was 10 years old. I cannot recall all the games I have played. When I first Beta Tested Ultima and played it for two years, I new I was into a new area of games, than to Asheron Call 3D again what an advancement that was. I always like Strategy games and play all the Myst and The Long Journey Etc. But this game is definitely the next step. The sounds (use a head set to really grasp it all) and graphics have entered a new area. The game is playable as you can grasp what the puzzles are and what you need to do. Doing it is a comfortable challenge and takes skill and time, as you find your way around. I have only played it for two hours and the only problem I am having is instead of staying focus on the puzzle, I am so dazzled by other events, I have to stop and explorer. I usually see how fast I can do one of these games. Not this one, this 60-year-old man is going to take his time and enjoy this unbelievable game. Nice job guys & girls in making this one, when I found the rabbit I laughed out loud.

Great for all ages

Presto has done a fantastic job of retaining the look and feel of Myst and Riven while taking the gameplay a huge step forward by allowing 360 views at every step. As a graphic designer/illustrator, I'm blown away by the amount of work that went into this title. I'm playing on a G4 Mac and have experienced flawless performance so far. My 8 and 10 year-olds enjoy playing along and though they're a little creeped out by the atmospheric sounds and graphics, they're huge fans as well. It's a shame so many are basing their negative reviews on the installation problems. While it's understandable that they feel this way, I have to believe the gamemakers will work out a patch or reissue a working disc to allow them the full experience of the game, at which time I'm confident that most players will not be disappointed.

This is about Daily Radar's review!!

I'm sorry, I haven't played this game yet but I have Played Myst and Riven and what The Daily Radar said about them really, REALLY made me angry!! First, Myst's puzzle design far outdid ANY other game like this that I have ever played, and Riven only had one or two "illogical" puzzles. Second, the ending, if you have the smallest, slightest, or most diminuative immagination, was completely awesome, not to mention the fact that since there IS a Myst3 the first two didn't really end now did they? Third, I agree that the graphics were deliciously beautiful. But The Radar seems to not notice that that is what the game is about (the wonderful, meaningless toys, refiend architecture, lucious landscapes, and the entire D'Ni culture that is). They designed the game to bring THAT to you. They even mannaged to bring the culture of a race that revolves around Writing Descriptions in a book to link to different worlds to you, AND emmerse you in it and it's history!!!! Now you tell me what other games' gameplay is THAT detailed and structured. If you agree, or disagree, E-Mail me at....

An amazing experience!

Photo realistic graphocs, surround sound support and a great story that serve to fraw you in and keep you there. This is the game the Riven SHOULD have been. The puzzles can be a bit confusing but are always within reacj of solving with a little clue finding. And the way they are presented never pulls you out of the experience. A must buy for puzzle or Myst fans.

The best game I have ever played!

This is the most wonderful game in the history of all gaming- beautiful, engrossing, challenging. It has everything. I would recommend one thing, though- get a walkthrough from someplace- you'll need it. Even though it takes quite a while to complete it- (the folks at ubisoft make each game a little bit differently so there is no one way to complete certain games)- it is worth the time, worth the energy, and after it's over, you'll be begging for more.
