This is the second best game for the 64, the first being Goldeneye. This game has everything, and if you liked Goldeneye you'll love this. There are so many more things available on Perfect Dark then Goldeneye like the simulator. The 64 is going out with a bang, and this game lived up to the hype.

well I bought this game thinking it would only be a slightbetter then Goldeneye (perfect dark is supposed to be its sequal) butI was wrong its a lot better then it, in fact its the best N64 game ever. The control is very good, the graphics are the best graophics on the system, the sound is good, and the funfactor is very ver very very high. I recomend this to anyone who liked Goldeneye. BUY IT!

Perfect Dark is by far the best game Rare has ever produced. It is the best first-person shooter on the market and I recomend it to anyone whom is a fan of Nintendo. Absolutely astounding graphics and replay value make this the best game for N64 second only to Zelda. A must have for any and all N64 gamers.

4 player Goldeneye 007, could it get any better? Yes it can and it did, its name ...Perfect Dark! Dark combines all that made 007 great and puts in a GREAT one player game and tons of multiplayer features that were missing from 007. Made by the same devlopment team that brought you 007, Perfect Dark is one of the best video games made for a home consule system. There is only one down side to this video game, once you start playing you will not stop untill you get hungry. If you love 007 this will be perfect for you

Where to start? The first time I played this game, adrenaline was racing thru my system. It is reminiscent of bond (same controls and whatnot) but takes it to a technical level above and beyond. Each weapon has two functions, the AI with the expansion pach is unparalleled, it is an incredible game. The guards do not run around aimlessly anymore, they sidestep, strafe and hunt you down. I highly recomend the game.

I have recently puchased Perfect Dark and I enjoy it allot. I don't know if its the stunning graphics, the incredible sound, a plot that draws you in, or if it is the depth of the game. If you do not have an Expansion Pak DO NOT even bother to play this game because you miss out on most of the game. The sound is incredible, I suggest wearing headphones or placing the speakers on either side of you, this will make it feel like you are IN the game, you will be able to hear the footsteps of the guards, you will hear the Hovercopter coming after you....it is an experience that you have live to believe. One word of warning, if blood makes you queesy, this is not your game, also the bad guys occasionally refer to you with a profane term. Other than that this game is by far the BEST game ever created for the N64

Perfection aplenty in Perfect Dark

This game is the game any gamer has been waiting for! The graphics push the Nintendo 64 to the max, the depth is amazing, with countless solo, co-op, counter-op, and multiplayer possibilities! The only gripes are that I had to purchase an expansion pak to play it, but that was well worth it! The game is just amazing! The cinematics are amazing, the lighting effects, explosions, and the sound will blow you away! After playing this, "Goldeneye" seemed so feeble and weak! Take Goldeneye and add almost every feature you wished that could have had and you've got a good idea of what Perfect Dark is!

The coolest part is the co-op, which is surprisingly smooth, and the counter-op is very innovative. The plot is one of the best I've seen in a game (Goldeneye doesn't count since that was based on a movie's plot)

My only gripe is the menu system,which is difficult to navigate...

I rarely use a lot of capital letters, but just a "amazingly perfect" just wasn't enough. Rare, the creator of modern multiplayer deathmatch games, has succeeded again to make a 1st person shooter that puts GoldenEye to shame. The "Sim" aspect of the game gives you more players to kill and team up with. The "futuristic backstreets" setting works well and the sound FX are fabulous. I pointed my gun at the head of a civilian by accident and he cried "Oh my God!". Too bad the "Import Your Face" feature (where you could take a picture of your face with Game Boy Camera and put it in Perfect Dark via Transer Pak) was taken out of the game, but it's still a masterpiece of gaming. Everything is realistic; some guns even have laser sights. If you are 18+(or allowed to buy M rated games) and OK with violence and blood, this is for you.

The blood and gore adds up.

Now, I'm only ten so I shouldn't be playing these games but who cares, I'm see things most people older than me wouldn't be seeing.Anyways I think this game is awesome and you should really play it, the muti player is the best!It's worth the money!
