Mario Party is the kind of game that became an instant classic! Play it once and your hooked! If you grab three friends and play, there is no better feeling in the world. Play, what seems like endless mini-games, with either Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool (a.k.a. Peach), Wario, DK, and (my personel favorite) Yoshi! Believe me, this is a good deal for such a good game!

Fun, Fun, Fun.

This game is great and it's not just one game, it's a bunch of games such as bumper balls, bombs away, bombsketball, and much much more. My favorite one is Shy Guy Says. This is how it goes: Your on a floatation device and it's tied to a gallion and whenever you hold up the opposite flag that Shy Guy does he cuts your rope and you drift out to sea. This game will keep you playing all afternoon.

this was an exciting game.
When my dad bought it for my little sister on her birthday we played it all evening and all night long.
Your job for this game is to collect 100 stars. by doing that you collect stars in adventure board games from toad. Up to four players can play. Also you collect coins from winning minigames and collecting coins from characters on the board map.
You use the coins to buy special stuff from the Mushroom shop and you buy minigames that you found from the adventure from the minigame house.
You can also collect coins from the minigame stadium. All you have to do is jump in the pot.
The game also has a one player minigame adventure. when it is just by yourself beating minigames until you go up to the goal
I didn't forget about the option house where you can check your settings and listen to the jukebox.
this game has a lot and only had it for about a year. It has all your favorite Mario characters in it.
the problems I have with this game is the computer players and some of the minigames. The computer players cheat a lot even though their level is easy. In some minigames you have to spin the control stick so hard that it will give you a blister. that happened to me.
i had problems with this game but everything else makes it fun.

i luv this game

I still remember the first time I played this game, it remains a favorite even today. Some minigames are a bit simple, but I still love it!

Ony complaint: PADDLE BATTLE! Who's stupid idea was this? Rotating the controlstick gives me blisters! Ouch!

simple, but so much fun

It's great. Great graphics. Every kind of mini game. Listen to music with the Juke box. See how far you can get at one player mode or show your friends your skill by beating them in multi-player. Pick famous characters like Mario, Luigi, DK, Yoshi, Wario and Peach. Pick different worlds. I like Yoshi's Island and Mario's Castle. There's also Peach's Birthday cake, Luigi's engine room, Wario's Battle, DK's jungle and when you the last world if your really good you can get the Star. There's people to help you along the way like mushroom head and toad and if your not careful you'll run into bowser. The mini-games are the best. GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mario Party was alot of fun for me .Anyway this is a great game for the competitive type. On the other hand for people who aren't used to losing or get cheesed off to easily won't like this game as much as others. Overall it was a good start to a great series

Can get boring

If you are new to Mario party games, check out number 2 or 3. This is fun to begin with but when you keep playing the same mini-games it gets a little boring. We rented this and and liked the concept but didn't enjoy it much but when Mario Party 2 came out and it stated it had more mini-games we bought that one and we really enjoyed it. We can't wait to get the 3rd one. No matter what game you go with expect to play for atleast an hour.
