It's great. Great graphics. Every kind of mini game. Listen to music with the Juke box. See how far you can get at one player mode or show your friends your skill by beating them in multi-player. Pick famous characters like Mario, Luigi, DK, Yoshi, Wario and Peach. Pick different worlds. I like Yoshi's Island and Mario's Castle. There's also Peach's Birthday cake, Luigi's engine room, Wario's Battle, DK's jungle and when you the last world if your really good you can get the Star. There's people to help you along the way like mushroom head and toad and if your not careful you'll run into bowser. The mini-games are the best. GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mario Party was alot of fun for me .Anyway this is a great game for the competitive type. On the other hand for people who aren't used to losing or get cheesed off to easily won't like this game as much as others. Overall it was a good start to a great series

If you are new to Mario party games, check out number 2 or 3. This is fun to begin with but when you keep playing the same mini-games it gets a little boring. We rented this and and liked the concept but didn't enjoy it much but when Mario Party 2 came out and it stated it had more mini-games we bought that one and we really enjoyed it. We can't wait to get the 3rd one. No matter what game you go with expect to play for atleast an hour.

Well this game isnt exactly the party it was cracked up to be! Its just this board game type thing where you play against the computer or friends and when you all land on a space you play these mini-games, some of them are fun, some are pretty dumb (and some are absolutly impossible if you play against the computer, there like programed to do everything perfectly!) Its terrible graphics also, doesnt look like a N64 game, more like a super nintendo game! I suggest you rent it b4 you invest to buy it!

I thought this game was really fun at first - if you are playing with another person - but then I realised that behind all that game playing and luck and excitement... it gets realy boring after a while. In fact, I think I got bored of it within 3 - 5 days. I think this is a game to rent, not buy. It's really not worth the money. Well, it's not my choice of whether you should buy this or not, but this is my opinion. Okay, bye!

I've played this game and it is good. It keeps you occupied for a while. It is also fun because there are many twists and turns.

The reason I gave this game 3 stars is because there's not much action. Well there is some action, but at the end of every turn.
So I say this is not a cup of tea for people who like action (if you like tea).

Mario Party is a great game. It is practically a board game on the N64. You pick a character (Mario, Luigi, Wario, DK, Peach, or Yoshi) and hit the rolling die. You move around different game boards and try to collect the most stars to become the "Superstar". This game has pretty good graphics for the N64 and good music. The character voices aren't that great. The Minigames are very fun, except for the ones where you have to rotate your control stick very quickly. Other than that, it's a great game- I recommend buying it.
