This is one of the best games I have ever seen! The graphics are incredible, and I love guest mode. YOU get to be the zookeeper and walk around the zoo! This game is quite challenging, though. Landscaping is hard, but in a super-knock-ya-dead-awesome kind of way! I have 3 words for ya, BUY THIS GAME! It is soooooooooo worth the $. SUPER FUN!!

I played this game ay my cousins and it was so much fun. I had to come home and buy one for myself and as a birthday gift for my freind. It's allot more fun then any of the other tycoon games. It might be kind of expensive but it is hours of fun trying to build a five start zoo. You can also have limited or umlimied money so when your learing how to play its easy. This game is totally awesome and worth every penny.

Well... I got the game last night and I already dislike it. It just doesn't seem to have enough. Not enough animals, buildings,folige, or places to build. Of course this may be helped by the Endangered Speices expansion pack. Also there was somthing I liked in the original Zoo Tycoon that they took away here, in the original when you put somthing into an animals exibit, the animals would give you a happy or sad face showing if they liked it or not. Here they took that feature away making it much more difficult to tell if they like that(i.e.) maple tree that you are puting in their exibit. Overall I suggest you stick with the Original Zoo Tycoon, and if you add the dinosaur digs and marine mania expansion pack that will result in hours of fun. I just couldn't have as much fun with number 2. I hope this review was able to help you in your desision.

My nine year old granddaughter loves this game. It is challenging, interactive, and stimulating. It is also a great learning tool. I would highly recommend this software.

Outstanding! Photo Safari, Biome Bush, RED PANDAS?! What's not to love? The Zoopedia is very noteworthy too. However, it can be slow in some places, so you have to be patient. But overall, two thumbs up!

there is so many tycoon games that i lost count. this is the same......eh. built a zoo, get money and have allot of awards and customers. BUT(the magic word...but)you can get close to your animals and have MORE animals then before. still a same ol' tycoon BUT with good new features. this is NOT a must buy if you have the first one, BUT it will be fun if its your first zoo tycoon. this game is a........eh. bye

It is too fun I am 9 years old it is soooooooo! funny! when you let animals escape and the people act like monkeys! I recomend getting it!

Like many, I 've put together a hodge podge of older computers for the kids. This game requires a recent computer to run. Three computers of fairly recent vintage (Windows 2000 or XP) all failed to have the right memory, processing speed or graphics boards to run this game. The game was a hit as a present, but we'll probably return it instead of buying a new computer for the children.

I've played Zoo tycoon with expansion packs(plural) and zoo tycoon2 with one expansion pack (endangered species), and I'd derfinetly say that zoo tycoon 2 was WAY better!

1. Better Graphics

2.No need to work for more animals(in freeform, anyway)

3.Not sure if just zootycoon2 has this, but jeep rides and a skytram:)

4.TELLS you what the animal wants, wheras in the original you had to fix every exibit you made

5.Music rocks that make the guests dance really bad
