Rainbow Strikes Again!

This game is AWESOME!! It is stunning in every aspect from graphics to gameplay. RS3 has seriously re-vamped from is earlier versions. The AI of your team-mates is wonderful - they cover doors, windows, hallways etc and instictively take cover. The AI of the enemies is great too - they always take the best course of action. The new command interface is also a welcome change - you can order your team-mates to open and clear, open and frag, open and flash, and breach and clear any room and you can order them to move ahead of you, regroup with you, disarm a bomb, and secure a hostage. Another winning point of this game is the awesome arsenal. You have many assault rifles, SMG's, shotguns, pistols, and sniper rifles. You can also equip with grenade launchers, greandes (frag and white phosphorus), flashbangs, tear gas, smoke grenades and more. Each weapon has its own characteristics which can help you choose which will be best for your mission. Controls are very easy and make alot of sense. Even if you arent very good with using FPS's, this game will accomodate you with its wonderful aiming system and smooth controls. Last of all, the graphics are stunning and quite lifelike. I highly recommend this game to any fan of FPS's and even those who are not. It is a seriously awesome game!!

I like this game. It is like swat global strike team, ghost recon and splinter cell put together. The graphics are cool.
I like the commands you give your team. It takes awhile to learn the controls but still fun.

I am not a very strong First Person Shooter but RS3 surprised me with an easy to use tutorial, and engrossing gameplay. The game is simple. Move about various military, and civilian targets, eliminate the bad guys, and rescue/escort the good guys. All the while trying not to double tap one of your team of three, or one of said hostages. The graphics are very crisp and clean, and gameplay is smooth, effortless, and free of flutters or hiccups. There are a wide range of guns to choose from. All of them handle differently, can be used in widely varying situations, and are meticulously rendered. The degree of difficulty even on Recruit level seems very challenging but the ability to save up to three separate points per level makes it a little easier to clear a level. The AI varies as well in degrees of intelligence. Some of the baddies seem rather smart, and sneaky while others run right up to you with plenty of time to cap them, or stand still as you center a perfect head shot. Fun game filled with trouble around nearly every corner. A headset can be used to give orders to teammates through vocal command rather then using the D pad which I must say is kinda fun after all the standard "push this button for this command" as it is in most games. I did feel a little strange talking to myself, but its all in fun. On line play is also supported, and very good time to experiment with which i had the chance to do and all I can say is WOW!!! The varying degree of gameplay that can be found on-line is amazing!! Look for a Riki2000, Gunnerroo, and my best bud JoshuaTree. Enjoy!!

I got this game as a present from my wife and I LOVE IT! Best of all, with Xbox Live I can play with my brother across the country and my best buddy half way across the country. Great weapons and maps. The AI is just as hard as you want. 4 people coop (mission OR terrorist hunt mode) and 16 people competitive mode (death match or team survival). Tons of fun and enough people that you can find servers with no lag.

Socom or Rainbow Six 3

Well I love this game, its tons of fun to play online or just the missions. You never get to a mission that even though you try extremly hard you "cant beat" you can beat every mission after playing it about 10 times. This game has a bunch of stratigy, angles and other stuff like that. The online play kicks ass, its sorta like more like counter stike for pc that counter-stike is for Xbox. I love this game much more than Halo or any game like that. If you like socom you will love this game because its just like socom except better. If you dont like socom because there are so many missions were you need to use nightvision or just because you dont like the grafics or something, but you like the idea of controlling your squad and not just killing people but stratigicly attacking them you will love this game

Splinter Cell is better

i'll make it short. i just played splinter cell before i played Rainbow Six 3. This game just has basic shoot the bad guy stratagy. too basic. splinter cell goes in much deeper, using wall bombs, spying, real effects, hiding in the dark ALOT more!

This game is a blast. You wont be dissapointed. I have all the other games of Tom Clancys for the PC. I got an Xbox for Christmas and Rainbow Six 3 was the first game I went out and bought. The first day I played it for 10+ hours. If you like ANY of the other Tom Clancy games this is a must have for you collection. It is also tons of fun to play on the internet.

This game has fun 1 player missions, but it is just awesome on Xbox Live. Playing through the missions with a team of your pals is a blast. There is also team survivor, sharpshooter, and other multiplayer options. Best FPS since Halo. Only thing missing is a split-screen option. I'd really rate it 4.5 stars, Halo was a 5.

This is an exellent game! it is insanely hard but that makes it more realistic (if you dont want to get killed you can enter a code on each level to put you in "god" mode). the graphics are some of the best i've seen and the weapons are AWESOME! its also really nice to be able to make somebody else (on your team) open a door for you and clear the room! if you like combat games and or tom clancy you MUST have this game.

I rented this game and loved it,i liked it alot its graphics are sweet the detail in levels.the best thing i liked was ordering your squad around this game deserves 5 stars.i liked the internet better tho it was fun but i hated it when ppl would kick me a fun game a must have
