This game is awesome only because when you get all angry about a mission, you can turn around and shoot your teammates in the head and they yell "Friendly Fire!" They are so stupid..I know buddy...I am shooting you.....duh...I don't know how they ever made the cuts to get on my team in the first place being that dumb. Man I hate those guys Anyways, it's really cool. Especially if you use a fire grenade on them and they scream while their bodies burn. They don't yell "Friendly fire!" when you do that because they are too burnt already. I will never forget them....they died trying to save my life. Then I killed them. Buy it.

Old game...

I played the initial Rainbow Six on PC 5 years ago when it first came out and I loved it.

I bought an XBOX last week just to play RS3 thinking there would be a lot of improvement, more dynamic environment, new scenarios over the Original RS. I was wrong.

Same old, same old, but without some of the most interesting PC features:
1) No 3rd person view (ARRRGH!!!!)
2) No Planning phase.
3) Can't pause and save your game (this one is unbelievable!...what is the XBOX Hard Disk for??)

4) No dynamic environment (no interacting vehicule or helicopters. All these are bitmaps image which don't move at all, just like in the 5 year-old original RS).

For people looking for a new creative and innovative game from the original RS, my friends you will be disappointed. Stay away from RS3 since it's old stuff repackaged with a new title, slightly better graphics and slightly different levels. Besides that, it's all the same. I wanted a game that would surprise me with new clever ideas, but that did not happen.

For people who never played that type of Strategy/Action game game before, RS3 is probably a good game to start with.

Great game. You should also check out the Official DVD Strategy Guide for this game from GameTime. I got my hands on an early copy. It helped me figure out how to make it through (survive!) all the missions. I think Amazon is supposed to have them in a few days.

I just bought this game and it is TIGHT! the levals are hard but if your a true gamer that isnt a problem. the view is good but i think it should be 3rd person. unlike the other rainbow games you cant choose the whole teames weapons only yours but the selection is much bigger! some guns even have scopes the guns range from sub machine guns to shotguns to even m-60s! you dont get to choose your armor but you have four team members and you can issue alot more orders like for them to blow open a door or clear it you can also send them ahead when your low on health to clear terrorist oh and if you die the whole mission is failed and you cant swithch guys but all and all its one of the best tom clancey games ever!

OK i was looking forward to this game and when it came out i was playing on x box live and i herd some mixed feelings about it so rather then buyingit i rented it and man was i glad i did that. THis game you cant even jump in how is that realalistic and the guns my god are so unproportional. THe graphics are ok better then some but the animation or graphics on certain objects is horrible. I reommend that if you are looking for a good Online game for X-Box get Counter-Strike there is a good game and the graphics are good but that dosent matter gameplay rocks better then soldier of fortune and add's a new twist to theses first person shooters and scoreboards makes people try harder so go out by counterstriek my friends

a fantastic shooter game. one of the best i've played. not easy though. even on recruit, i've yet to get by the 3rd mission. either the RPG's get me or the hostage is killed. very realistic military hardware. i love the thermal mode & if you throw a gas grenade, & walk into it without a mask, everything starts getting blurry. nice touch. this game is very well done. lastly, commands are easy even without the headset. if you're up to the challange, get this game. it would have gotten 5 stars, but due to the difficulty of this game, i only gave it 4.

man, these people are slow. they say "roger, mooning now" even if they walk a couple of steps. there are too many stupid mexicans going around saying "POLICIA. POLICIA" they all even look the same, except wearing different clothes. the only best part about this game is when I am in GOD mode.

Don't buy this game!! Buy HALO 2 or HALO!!!!!!!!

I am a huge fan of Live, and this game is great for Live, but it is also great off-line. One outstanding feature is the ability to use the Xbox Live Communicator to give verbal orders to yoru team. You only have a four man team, and you have to give good orders to your three team mates, sometimes very quickly. The headset nearly completely eliminates a clumbsy interface in which to do this with. It is far easier to look at a door and tell them "Open flash and clear" than fumble through button combinations. Live gaming is great fun, which is the norm for nearly any multi-player game. Very solid game play single player, and multi-player.

I thought this game had very nice stealth tactics. Such as breaching doors and clearing the room inside. Or rushing though a door and clearing. Also you CAN relay on tactics in this game such as having your team cover you and take cover while using your thermal vision and m4 to take out the following enemies though-out the levels and game.

This is a great game. One of the best games I ever played. The graphics are awsome and also the gameplay. This game is really fun to play on single player and online with friends if you have Xbox live.I rate the gameplay, graphics, and sound all a 10. You should buy this game it's worth it.
