I think that this is one of the better jedi action game that's out there. While the graphice are so-so, the jedi abilities and light saber action is perrrrrfect. Try the game if you haven't played it yet. You'll have a lot of fun.

awesome game if you dig SW. read on and i'll explain

this game has awesome graphics and even better gameplay. it has tons of multiplayer combinations including, free for all, capture the flag, one on one, and more. it is also online enabled for Live. play single player and you are a student at the acadamy to train and become a jedi master. you can pick your species for your character, human male or female, rodian and 2 or 3 more but i forgot. sorry. also you can pick its face, style of shirt, style of pants, and color of its outfit.

pick from multiple combinations of your lightsaber: color of the blade, hilt style (handle), and later on in the game you can choose from a double lightsaber like darth maul's in the movie Star wars I phantom menace. or you can wield 2 standard lightsabers in both hands. lots of missions and excitement. you feel like and actual jedi because you can controll about 20 different force powers including speed, jump, heal, lightning, rage, sense, and protect to name a few. you also have a choice of weapons to choose from. including a mini-portable rocket system, an imperial repeater, and a fletcher weapon, and a wookie bocaster to name a couple. also choose 1 of 3 explosives: trip mines, hand gernade, and detanation packs. and when you run out of weapons and explosives, there are lots of pickups during the game.

fight imperials, robots, sith lords, rancors and many other enimies. this game is moderately chalenging. nothing too hard or easy. a very enjoyable game. if you like the star wars movies or just really dig the games, this is a perfect game to add to your collection.

Good but not better

This game is good, the best thing about it is that you the way you can use the light sabers. The staff and the dual light sabers are great and there are more moves than in Jedi Outcast. The problem is that the story is not as involving as Jedi outcast so is kind of a let down, although I enjoyed the dark side ending. The voice acting could be better as well as the plot. I recomend this game as a rental unless you have Live or can system link easily with a couple of frinds, because wilding 16 light sabers at once should be fun.

hmmmmmmm....(Sigh)

I have to say that this is the biggest disappointment in videogame history. Being a big fan of Jedi Outcast, I egarly rushed out to buy this game. What I got was a rushed peice of crap. The graphics are really, rally, bad. The story is weak too and you don't even get to play as Kyle! Yah sure you get to create your own character, but the cration isn't nearly as cool as Kyle.

good fun

dude if ur a fan of Jk2 you'll love it. If your a disiponted person who bought jk2 and []couldnt get past the first level this game is for you. I garrentee any starwars fan will apreciate this exellent title. I own it on pc and love it, who could not its online, easyer than jk2 and you can learn all new ways to use the saber like two at once or darth mauls double bladed. I wish i waited to getr this edition of jk3 insted of the pc one mostly cause im a fan of xbox live and ehat it has to offer.

A Jedi must have patience

As long a wait as it was for this game, more patience is required while playing. You're playing for jedi training, so be prepared to be given tasks to fullfill. Learn the ways of the Force in order to master the game, padawans...and this game will take you through it.

Lightsaber-slashing fun

This is an entertaining game despite its advancing age. You play a new student at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy, running various missions on your way to becoming a Jedi Knight. You'll meet famous Star Wars faces and eventually uncover an evil that threatens the galaxy. All in a day's work.

The lightsaber combat is the game's strong point, and it's fun to run through the levels hacking enemies and demolishing them with your stable of force powers. The story is decent, but because you're undertaking individual missions at a time the narrative isn't as cohesive as it might be. The character building element (you create your own character) is surprisingly limited; there are only a few species to choose from, and with most you can only play as one gender (ex. you can be a female Twi'lek, but not a male one).

Not as strong as Jedi Outcast, but still a worthy Star Wars experience that'll satisfy your lightsaber urges until the eventual motion-controlled Wii game comes out.

Awesome game!

This game was SO much fun. The lightsaber choices: beyond awesome! The storyline was great, too. The sound was great, as well. It was difficult when it needed to be and the learning curve is very quick. I played through this game more times than I can count. Very fun!The only thing I didn't like was the AI of the characters during games like Capture the Flag, etc. The AI is terrible. It's VERY fun with human players, though.

This is a great game.

This was a well put together game and it did surpass the outcast version.
The only thing that it didn't have was those mini gun turrents when you go to play multiplayer.
I love the options the game gives you, you get to create your very own player and your color of your light saber(s), or staff.

The more options you have the better the game is.

A Good Star Wars Game

I hadn't really heard a lot about this game before I purchased it but I usually like Star Wars games just based on the universe that it is set in. Most of the games have flaws but you play them for the experience of being one of the characters from the movies. This game was very fun and decently long. I liked how you progressed through the game with force powers and you can eventually choose dual lightsabers or a staff. The beginning of the game is very tedious and boring because your force powers aren't really advanced yet and your only enemies are storm troopers that do nothing but shoot and miss you and then you swing your lightsaber at them once and they are dead. But later on you get to fight a lot of other jedis and this is when the game gets really fun. You have to figure out different ways to kill these jedi because you can't always beat them just swinging your lightsaber(s). I liked to force grip them in the air and throw my lightsaber at them. The graphics are a little choppy and aren't the best for xbox and the gameplay is a little repetitive but if you like Star Wars games then you should give this one a try. It is worth buying because it's a little long and you can try the light and dark paths. Plus if you have xbox live there are good multiplayer games.
