HAS ENY1 HERE PLAYED JEDI KNIGHT:DARK FORCES(THE FIRST JEDI KNIGHT GAME) WELL WHEN THAT WAS MADE(96) THE THERE WERE LIKE BLOCK 3-D GRAPHICS AND THIS GAME KICKS ASS

THIS GAME COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER. I BOUGHT THIS GAME SHORTLY AFTER I BOUGHT KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC, AND WAS EXPECTING IT TO BE PRETTY GOOD. BUT NO, IT IS TERRIBLE, THE ONLY REASON I DID NOT GIVE IT ONLY 1 STAR IS BECAUSE YOU START OUT WITH A LIGHT SABRE FROM THE BEGINNING SO THAT GIVES IT MORE, LIVE IS VERY VERY GOOD WITH THIS GAME HOWEVER.

I really hoped I would like this game, but I cannot illusion myself. It is a poor game.

First off, the graphics are subpar. The first menu screen I saw looked like it was off the eight-bit Nintendo. It was definitely a preview of the lackluster graphics to come. The game environments and players look like a really old modded Unreal Tournament... a really old one.

The controls don't feel natural like a Halo or Hitman. When you pull one of the analog sticks, the reticle first moves very slowly then suddenly speeds up. The poor controls continue because of the way you have to select your Force powers with your left thumb on the directional pad, meaning you have to take your thumb off the left analog stick you are using to move your character! This means your character is nailed to the ground anytime you need to change Force powers! Ack!

What really disappointed me the most was the lightsaber play. You engage your saber and run up to an enemy in multiplayer, and then it just devolves into a button mashing contest where you swing your saber madly. There is no rhyme or reason as to why one hit lands and another doesn't. You could be hitting a guy in the back and it doesn't connect, while another person is hitting you head on and your character drops like a sack of potatoes.

I like that they added online multiplayer, but the game is so bad that I won't really want to pick it up again until a new (and hopefully improved) installment of this series releases.

I wish this game wasn't so disappointing; I was really looking forward to it. I cannot recommend this game to anyone.

now im not a big star wars geek or a video game geek but this game is so cooooool now my opinan is as a gamer and not a geek so if you are a geek and you dont find this game as cool as i do im not an expert

Star wars games dont generally impress me but i bought this one for my bro. I was amazed by the gameplay and the graphics and the force and the customizable lightsaber and the customizeable character. Any one who is a fan of star wars I suggest u buy this. If u rnt i suggest u buy this. This game is so sweet and theres nothing noticbly wrpng with it except the controls are a bit hard to get down(for instace to do a wallrun you do up up a side r) But theres alot of combos that you can do!

Please do not buy this game. Thankyou. Ok seriously onto the review. I rented this game because I was thinking about buying it so I picked my character, which you could choose a boy, girl, alien then I am off on my adventure. Immediately I noticed that the graphic are no up to par with standard X box games and that the movement was quirky. I have played games with these kind of problems if they were fun but this game also has bugs. On the first stage I went to chop down the tree and the guy would not run across the log, another time I got stuck in the log, and yet another time I through my sword and it didn't come back. I don't like the fact that if you stand next to a friendly character that you can kill them simply by having your light saber within touching distance of them. Overall I would have to say this game could have been great but it was clearly rushed for the holiday season, I hate when publishers do that, thanks Lucasarts.

If your looking for a good star wars game get knights of the old republic, if your looking for a action game get prince of persia. This game is not good in any way shape or form.

This latest star wars game is by far the biggest disappointment I have had in a video game. The graphics are sub-par at best, and the game has bugs like you wouldn't believe. I got to a point in the game where a cinematic scene was happening, and the character was unable to jump onto a ledge. He proceded to keep jumping and hitting his head over and over again. It was funny for a second and then I realized that my game was worthless. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!! George Lucas should be ashamed to put his name on such a shotty piece of work.

O.K. I have gone to the website for this game and seen all the screenshots and trailers and this game should, in every aspect, be SWEET!!!!! The graphics are insanely good, the customization process is incredible, the attacks are finely tuned for perfection, and you can be on the light or dark side.
