This game gets a star because it proves one simple point customizing video game women is more fun than customizing video game cars. however both can only hold ones attention for a limited time cars for about 2 minutes and women for about 5 minutes. anyway down to the game play. there is no story at all. the "story" was definately an afterthought so im not going to even consider it. If you have really poor reflexes enjoy playing handheld games or are a fan of computer games you will really enjoy playing the actual volleyball matches. people who like portable gaming will casue it involves smashing buttons and people who like computer games will cause you really only need to use 3 buttons similar to using a mouse.

the computer seems to fluctuate randomly between one computer being incompitent and the other being proffesional which is the most fun to play against to both computers being lousy which is ok or both being so good you can consider it cheating which is no fun. that about sums up this game

Though you may think it's only for the ladys, this game actually takes some skill to play well. I enjoyed schooling my friends who thought it would be a no-brainer to play. But while this game is a great way to chill after playing some hard-core RPG, it doesn't have enough to keep you playing it for weeks on end. All the objectives are self-made, so once I got the Venus suit for both Lisa and Tina, that was it for me. There aren't enough things to do, but the volleyball was done very, very well.

This game was supposed to have nudity in it but it doesn't.It said so on the back of the box under the rating section ...

The casino is very limited. Casino software on the market for PCs are far better.

The characters speak in Japanese. It should not have been that difficult to have the characters speak english.

The volleyball itself gets boring fast. My copy of this game will end up in a Goodwill bin. I will not buy another Tecmo product ...

I gave it this title becasue when you hear someone talking about a hot girl in a video game, you always think they have no life right? well i do, but this game is an exeption. the graphics are increadible like other DOAs, so these girls look as real as you can get from an Xbox, and thats pretty real. but if you get turned on by girls of GTA and other games, then you have no life. but these girls are HOT. every one of them. if you don't think these girls are hot, then your problebly gay. if your not gay and still don't think they arnt hot, well then you must amdit they look pretty good for a game system. I don't own this game ONLY because of the veiw, but the game play in it with volleyball is fun, and simple. if you get confused, well, your excuse better be you were distracted by the view otherwise you have no right to own a game system period. Back to the girl aspect, all of these girls have perfect knockers. not pointed, or spaced apart, but perfect. though some could use bigger racks. but thats what Tina's for. she has the biggest, most perfect rack i'v ever saw in a game. Iv seen bigger, but those boobs make the chicks look like a freak, but tina is a 30 out of 10. not to mention you will see some pretty sexy stuff that these girls will do in this game. but the sexiest is the watching the boobs juggle. that turns me on all the time. I can't wait for the new Bakini edition of DOA to come out on the 360. Im gonna jump for that.

I really like this game, specially because it's relaxing; if you're tired or something like that you can relax playing DOAX, there's also a lot of things to do, like playing in the casino, buy accesories, play volleyball. You must buy it, it's a good game, i really like it.

This game is the coolest. The ladies in this game are hot and the best part is that you can make their tata's bigger. You can create your own team and design the women the way you want to be. If your a bachelor, tis game is for you.

the rating of Nudity is a Lie. It's just a trick to get men/boys to buy this title. Suggestive poses is not nudity.

This has to be the best sports game in history. Aside from the sleek, slender, super sexy babes, the game looks like it just plays well. You will love this game, and you'll love the babes in it even more!!!!!

Don't buy this unless you just want to collect all of the games with the best graphics. Who cares about these girls? The volleyball games are dumb and the hop, skip, and a jump only slightly more amusing. I thought I didn't have a life when I bought this, and now I KNOW I don't have one if I kept playing it. Buy a real sports game (pick one...ANY one) and the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated, go back to playng Halo, and you'll be a lot better off.

DOAXBV is a great game and worth purchasing at full price. I won't even get into how hot these virtual babes are since that's pretty obvious from the commercials, screen shots, and box art. But believe me, there's more to this game than eye candy.

The volleyball system has been touted as "simple to learn, hard to master": I couldn't agree more. I was able to pick up the essentials of the volleyball game and play a decent match in less than two minutes. Two buttons are used to play (default) along with the left thumbstick and while that may sound too easy, take note that these buttons respond to pressure (how hard you press, not how much you cajole) and changes the strategy you and your vball partner take on the court. Eventually as the game progresses the matches become more difficult with both sides hitting blinding spikes left and right. It's then that winning matches becomes a real challenge when a pair of girls beats the crud out of you in multiple games.

The shopping system is mostly superficial in that you can put your favorite DOA girl in nothing more than dental floss and buy them submachine guns, but it does contribute to building character relationships and effective partners on the court. An unhappy partner is a lazy player and will not pursue spikes and dinks as aggressively as she normally would, which places the burden of winning the game entirely in your hands. A partner that grows to despise your stinking vball skills will perform horribly, complain on the court, and eventually leave you for deeper valleys (pun intended).

One of the most fun things to watch out for is the hopping game, where you literally hop on these floating pads across a pool to gain extra cash and to calibrate your buttons for vball. It's a cute diversion and provides variety to the gameplay.

The weakest part of the game is the Casino. The slot machines are completely bogus and seem to follow a pattern after a couple dozen pulls. Also, there are some machines that will deduct money from your account in the (tens of) thousands. Not cool at all. Blackjack and Poker appear to be legitimate games, and the odds seem fair most of the time. Roulette is just plain confusing, but then again I've never played Roulette myself (other than watching people in Vegas play). Still, Roulette minimum bets are huge and newbies do stand to lose a lot over an experiment. Try it once, then move on. The odds are just too great.

What could have been great is a time/game independent section where you were allowed to dress up your character in your newly-acquired swimsuit and, er, check out the goods. In the game you're required to give up some in-game time to look at the suits outside of the vball game, which is titillating for about 15 seconds, and then you're made to move on, now with less time for other important events, like buying that green g-string bikini to go along with your camo sneakers.

Bottom line is, this game really was intended to draw more people to its Vixens than its Volleyball, but they've added just enough substance to make sure that your continually involving viewing pleasure remains exactly that.
