And that's the truth. I played Melee at a CubeClub on September 30th, and everything was just astounding compared to SSB on the N64. If you liked Super Smash Brothers for N64, then on December 3rd, you'd better haul your butt down to the store and buy Melee, if you don't pre-order it now. It is your duty. Everything that could have been improved in Super Smash Brothers HAS been improved, and everything is a major improvement over the last game. Melee has 19 characters, including: Mario, Link, Bowser, Sheik/Zelda (they can transform in-game), Peach, Ness, Captain Falcon, Kirby, Yoshi, Samus, Ice Climbers, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Luigi, Ganandorf, and three others that are not yet confirmed. It also has fully orchestrated music, better graphics, better gameplay, and 23 amazing stages...it's hard to find something bad about this game. The replay value for SSB on 64 was very high, and for Melee...just unthinkable. As the title of this review says...not buying SSB Melee is an etnernal sin.

this is one of the most best video games I ever played because it has more characters then the old game.It has enough hidden characters and stages to keep you busy for months,maybe years.And it has great graphics,great sounds,great every thing.If you are going to buy a new system,buy a GAMECUBE take it from me because I own one.

This is by far one of the best games ever!!!!!!And any idiot who thinks that this game is bad should go dunk their head in the toilet and blow themselves up!!! And all of you idiots who are just posting to diss SSBM. are just pathetic fanboys.Anyway this game has practically all the Nintendo charecters and has great gameplay.

First 4 "?" stages: Play 50,100,150,and 200 VS. Matches. Brinstar Depths,Fourside,Big Blue,and Poke Floats.
Fifth "?" stage: Get the Pidget or Birdo trophy. Mushroom Kingdom II
Last 5 stages: Final Destination: Clear all event matches.
Battlefield: Clear All-Star mode with any charecter.
Past Stages: Dream Land: Clear Target Test with all 25 characters.
Yoshi Classic Stage: Get a length of 1,323 ft. on the Home-Run contest with Yoshi.
Kongo Jungle: Clear 15-Minute Melee with any charecter.(I highly suggest Donkey Kong)
Charecters: Dr. Mario: Clear Classic mode with Mario on any difficulty.
Luigi: Make sure theres a 2 in the time bar when you comlete the first stage in Adventure mode. Luigi will then show up in place of Mario, beat him and he's yours.
Ganondorf: Clear event match #29(Triforce Gathering)
Falco: Clear 100-Man melee or play 300 VS. matches.
Young Link: Play 500 Vs. Matches or clear Classic mode with 10 characters(Two of which have to be Link and Zelda)
Pichu: Play 200 VS. matches or clear event match #37(Legendary Pokemon)
Jiggley-Puff: Clear Classic mode or Adventure mode with any charecter or play 50 VS. matches.
Mewtwo: Play 700 Vs. matches or accumulate 20 hours of VS. match gameplay.
Marth: Play 400 VS. matches or use the original 14 characters in Classic or Adventure mode.
Roy: Play 900 VS. Matches or clear Classic mode with Marth without using a continue.
Mr. Game and Watch: Play over 1,000 VS. matches or clear Classic mode,Adventure mode, or Target-Test with 24 characters.
P.S. To unlock All-Star mode, simpley unlock all 25 caracters.

The already extremely popular game from Nintendo 64 is making an early appearence in the GameCube's Game Library. Let's take a look at he first one, it was fun, it looked ok, plus it was really good to play at parties. I'm sure when you first got it you thought, "nothing could get better than this!" Well guess what, it can. Now that Super Smash Bros. is on GameCube, those hours of fun will double or even triple. It now has stunning new graphics, Hugely improved One player and multiplayer modes, and all of your favorite Nintendo Characters that you could possibly need. It's only rated Teen so it would make a great gift to someone who just got a gamecube and needs to start their game library. If you get someone this they will shout out in joy because this is the ultimate Christmas present.

First off, if you owned N64 and ever played Super Smash Bros. and loved it, then you're gonna love this title even more! This one has more features than you can shake a stick at! I don't have enough room to mention them all, but I can give you an idea, the first being more characters in the game, any fighter should have a lot of characters and this one provides that one no problem. Secondly, multiplayer, the multiplayer has a four person battle royal, and will be a big party game come December. Last, so many more modes of play it's not funny, of course, yet again I can't name all but just to name a few, coin mode, tournament, Hit Point mode, and the list goes on. I suggest this for every GameCube fan, or just anyone that loves fighters, this one rocks.

This new Gamecube game is truly awesome! With over 20 stages and over 20 characters to play as, you should really buy it. Players could play as classic characters like Mario, Link, and Donkey Kong, as well as newbies like Zelda/Sheik, Bowser, and others as they duke it out in stages like Mario's castle, Zelda's temple, Pokemon stadium and other cool stages. Some secret ones are Ganondorf, Marth, Mewtwo and more. It's a must-have!
