THIS GAME IS EXQUISIT, AND COMPLETELY ORIGINAL. I MEAN WHO COULD OF THAUGHT OF THE IDEA OF PUTTING A MONKEY INTO A BALL? I'LL TELL YOU WHO. NO ONE, BUT THE DESIGNER. ... I WANT TO GIVE [the designer]LOTS OF COMPLEMENTS FOR THE BEST GAME ON GAMECUBE!

This is a great game. What you do is you roll around in a ball and try to get to the goal without falling off or letting the time run out. You lose a life if either happens and you geta 1-UP if you get 100 bananas. There are different characters and levels of difficulty and there are mini-games. If you like arcade games and have some patience and a GC, get this game.

Super Monkey Ball is easy to do VERY difficult to master.
Beginner is hard for beginners of course. Advanced? I can't say anything about that,or Expert either. This game is very fun and challenging.

Parents looking for a quality game experience for their younger gamers need look no further. Super Monkey Ball is a 3D maze game. You advance through each maze by tilting the ground to allow the ball encapsulated monkey to roll along the path you choose. It also includes mini-games: a race game, a target game, a mild, mild boxing/punch game, and later unlockable pool (table) and other games. The whole package is put together well, is non-violent, and is just what you want out of a video game for younger childeren - amusement without guns, blood, gore, etc.

That said, the mazes get progressively harder, and I imagine a teen user would get lots of enjoyment out of this game too. Enjoy!

To my perspective , I think this is a great game . This game is challenging and exciting . This game is all about mini games mostly . I asure u that u buy this game but of course u could also rent it first to see if u like it or not . These are my rating for the game.....

Graphics:9/10
The graphics are wonderful but I think that the makers could've done better on the background.
Gameplay:10/10
Lots of things to do and see.
Sound:9/10
The sounds of the monkeys are life like.
Replay Value:10/10
There's so much to do .Monkey this and that . Very challenging on the expert mode.
Overall:10/10(5/5)

I wanted a game that I could put in my GameCube and just play for a couple of minutes everynow and then. It's a good game for that, until it gets addicting. The main game is great, but what the game is good for is the mini and party games. All of them are excellent multiplayer games, and even good one player games. They never get old. I'd recommend buying this game, espically for the great price.

At first glance, SMB looked like a stupid kiddie game and I didn't get one with my GCN. Boy was I mad I didn't. This was better then Luigi's Mansion and Waverace combined. The replay value is awesome and with so many minigames, it's the ultimate party experience. The games only flaw, in my opinion is the Monkey Golf game.

This is one of those games that prove why Sega is such a great game company! It's addictive and simple, yet extremely challenging for even the most advanced gamer. Simple, you pick your monkey, try and collect all the bananas, and then cross the goal line. It even has cool party games, that are a blast with four players!

Old School, but still fun. Have the Wii and wanted to try this before buying the 50 dollar Wii version. Definitely going to get the new one now!

I purchased my gamecube in a bundle with 3 games and bought this one b/c:

1. of all the favorable reviews.
2. i wanted a game i could have fun playing together with my wife and my little cousin.

This game is already my favorite. The premise is very simple (it reminds me of those little mazes where you tilt the puzzle to move a ball through a puzzle), but it's very engaging and is fun for all different age and interest groups.
