This game was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally good i bought it at super target and popped in the game as soon as i got home. I couldn't stop playing. you can play as Mario, Luigi, DK, Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Daisy, Peach, and a mystery character. Beside choosing captains there's choosing sidekicks. You can pick from Toad, Hammer Bros, Birdo, and Koopas. I recomend this game.

I bought this game for my kids and they just love it. What a game!!! It was fast and exciting all in one. Beats any real simulated game. Cartoon characters and throwing turtles shells at the opponent is extremely fun.

Super is the right word!

This is the best video game I have ever played, I love soccer so this worked for me. You never get board and the 2 player game is awesome.
Some many games don't cater for 2 play, concentrating on 1 player. but not this game. if you want a soccer game to play with your buddy or a family member this is the game for you.

the fact when you increase the level the only way to keep the ball from getting stolen is to knock the opponent constantly on his/her butt before they get to you makes it get boring on the legend level and eventually all the other levels are way too easy...the characters are fun, super kicks for the main characters are nice but get corny at times, and the goal-keeper seems to make amazing saves but then allow the easiest goals...its not pure soccer and you know that going in but it should still be a bit more realistic

So far since I've been playing this game (Super Mario Strikers), it makes no sense. Get points and win the game. Very detailed huh?
In my honest opinion, I would rate this game 2 stars. Plus, the animations suck!

I usually hate sports games. Yet, after playing this in the store for 5 minutes, I was addicted. Like any good addict, I took out my wallet without a second thought and bought it. I have not been disappointed.

This is a sports game, with tournaments and strategy. Yet, unlike traditional sports games, this one involves brutal tackles, cool items, and fun characters. My friends, who love sports games, and I have played this incessantly for the past few days.

One warning: the higher levels are very difficult. Yet, most of the cool bonus items, such as the hidden stages and characters, can be won simply by playing the easiest level. It is the best of both worlds.

The only thing that would have made this game better would have been the Mexican soccer announcer yelling GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL every time you get a goal.

This game is NOT worth $20. It's barely worth $5! I can't believe that I got stiffed $50 when it came out! The controls are mediocre, and you can't even use the goalie (you have to trust the dumb CPU, which misses a lot) You can only switch characters to the one (on defense) who is closest to the ball, and (on offense) who has the ball, so you can't use even the simplest real soccer play. For example, you can't use a give-and-go because the CPU won't move around the defender. Also, the total lack of penalties makes it ridiculous. I know someone who gets an advantage by giving the ball to the defense, then slamming the player with the ball into the ground and making off with the ball. The out-of-bounds area is replaced by, of all things, an impenetrable, high-voltage, electric fence. in short, a god-awful game, a first for Mario, and I don't recommend buying it for more than $10. OH MY GOD, THEY'VE MADE ANOTHER!!!

I am not a fan of sports games, but Super Mario Strikers is a goal for me. The last sports game that I played was NBA Jam for the Sega Genesis, I just couldn't get into another sports game after that.

When I bought this game I was a little concerned that I would not like it, but when I started playing it, wow, what a fun game.

Knocking other players down, or into the electrified invisiable fence is just down right fun. I think the super kicks are awsome, and the items you get to use throughout the game makes the game that much more enjoyable.

I give this game 5 stars all around, the best sports game for the people who hate sports games.
