... this games has awsome graphics and effects. Although it uses pre endering backgrounds, the effects are top notch and the sound is indeed a stand out in this series. The control, however, can have a learning curve of anywhere of 5 mins to 30 mins. That is where it looses a star.

This game has a great story line.... They have plenty of cut scenes to explain the story. Resident Evil 1 the re-make wasn't as good as Zero. Then when i played Zero i was like...this game is awsome I wonder what Resident Evil 4 is going to be like! Well the game is awsome and if you like Resident Evil games then you will sure like this one!

FINALLY they give you enough damn ink ribbons! This game has the best graphics out of all the R.E. games, except maybe the other titles being released on the cube. Partner system is excellent and easy to use. This game is a must own, i haven't been disappointed once. another great thing is that it's practically endless, when you're done w/ it you can buy the next r.e. game in the saga. Just buy it!

thought this game had the best story line of them all. I also liked how you could switch from charachter to character . I also liked the leach hunter game after you beat the regular one once. This makes the game easier the second time you play it.

making use of the zap system play is better in this game than in 2...

i played this game on easy to get used to the layout and found out the hard way that you cannot get any cool extras untill you play it on norm or hard. so play it on easy 2,3 times then play it on normal and save a lot. by the way leeches are hardest to find in the library side room and the kitchen. kill the monsters 1st and start fromthe lowest point 1st and the farthest point 2nd picking up all ur leeches

The prequel to the first, RE ZERO is a fantastic video game. The graphics, the sounds, the gameplay... it's bursting at the seams with its own evil goodness.

It's completely original, too! The leeches, the leech-zombies.. ugh. I HATE the music when you see a Marcus zombie, but it's a great composition, if not abnormally CREEPY.

ZERO has unique features not fond in your usual Resident Evil game. The partner switching is.., well, what can I say? WOW! Capcom just displayed another genius idea!

This game is the BEST LOOKING game out there! I was in awe when I played the game! It looks sooooooooo real and the game is just perfect! Some people didn't care for the controls and I didn't either at the start because I don't like the analog stick I like the cross (directional button) better but after a while I got used to it and then I looked like a pro! and the ending to this game is also VERY VERY good! I really like the partner change I was such a refreshing treat from the old by yourself game. I love how in each game the story unravels a little more! I hope this game continues for a long time!

I didnt rent this game before I bought it. Usually i rent then if i like it I buy it. I bough Resident evil and Resident evil zero a few days ago. When I played this one for the first time it was a great game. I like the two partner system. There are no item boxes in this one but both characters can carry six items which lets you have more items at a time. When theres a better item you see to pick up you can leave some items in a room pick up the other items and go back for the ones you left whenever you want. There are no defense items like the dagger or grenade but if you are being attacked then you get your partner to attack the monster and you wont be hurt. If you liked the first RE than buy this one without renting. Its a fun game.

Are the faint sounds of footsteps those of........survivors?

I recently just got the new Resident Evil 0 game for gamecube. I raced home after buying it and found myself playing for hours! I mean if you are a resident evil fan, its a no-brainer to buy this game. You will be faced with various monsters, including bloodthristy zombies, humanoid leeches, crows, and the popular zombie dogs. In addition to the intense game play, cool camera angles make the game a truley cinematic feeling. Also, a new method to game play is the "character swapping" element. This lets you automatically switch your character to go off in solo missions, which is needed to solve some puzzels. THIS IS A DEFINATE BUY!!!!!!!!

One of the best prequels around!

This game is awesome, I got a gamecube just so i could play it. It's great that you can leave items wherever you want and exchange them between characters. The switching characters part is also great. Sometimes these two features can be annoying, but most of the time, it's fun. It's also easier to kill a lot of the bosses in this game, which makes sense once you think about the storyline of all Resident Evil games. You also get to play a bonus "leech hunter" game once you win. The graphics and sound are flawless. This game is a must have!
