The game is so bad lucasarts should of stop the game from being sold. But when you mod the game it the best game in the world. The game needed 2 stars for how fun it is and for its overall but when moded the game is fun . So don't get the game for gc,xb and ps2 version's just get it for pc because that's the only one that you can mod.
The PC game of the games!

This is one of the coolest games I have had! First you play as Kyle Katarn without a lightsaber and in the "Yavin_Trial" level you get a lightsaber! You fight stormtroopers, imperials, turrets, sentrys, probes, crabs, Weequays, Rodians, Grans, Reborns, Tavion, shadowtroopers, Galak and the hardest to beat, Desann! The maps where you go are Kejim_post, Kejim_base, Artus_mine, Artus_detention, Artus_topside, Valley, Yavin_temple, yavin_trial, Ns_streets, Ns_hideout, Ns_Starpad, Bespin_undercity, Bespin_streets, Bespin_platform, Cairn_bay, Cairn_assembly, Cairn_reactor, Cairn_dock1, Doom_detention, Doom_shields, Yavin_swamp, Yavin_canyon, Yavin_courtyard and Yavin_final. Desann is the most powerful enemy in the game that you will never get to grip him. Well Galak in his forcefield armor is a little hard to beat like Desann, you can't grip them.
One of the best games i ever played

This is an incredible game that lets you see something of what comes after star wars. The blasters are cool but it looks awful when you put out the pistol in 3rd person veiw. When you get the light saber the plot finally gets good now the levels get slightly easier. The light saber fighting is incredible you can severe hand and arms and it has 3 differint styles. The game also has a great multiplayer that lets you play as any of the charectors of the game. Overall this game deserves all of my five stars.
A great game but.........

Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast is a great game with an espectacular design and great jugability but often one player mode misions often get too long.....But the multyplayer mode is superb it haves an large arsenal from sabers and blasters to self powered turrets and the capability of playing whit lots of players. I like these game (one of my favorites) but after a while of playing it gets a little boring (because a played this game for a long time). On my recomendation i say you should buy it.
awsome!!!

I have spent 40 hours already playing the single player game and i still have a couple of levels left, so this is not by any means a short game. If you liked the original jedi knight you will love this. The action is much more exciting with fancy saber moves (hold the direction keys AFTER you swing)and acrobatics. The slow motion deaths are really cool, as are the evil jedi reborn that you fight. The force powers and weapons are much more useful and fun to play with in this game. The graphics rock, but only if you have a powerful system and a good video card. i have a geforce 2 and it looks great but with a 3 or 4 ti it would look much better, but it still looks twice as good as the original. if you have a slow machine you may want to hold off, i tried the lower settings which they recommend for the minimum requirement systems, and it looks like dark forces 1, real blocky. The only part of the game which i don't like are the cut scenes because the main character looks like a wimpy freak, i cringe when i have to watch those, kyle holds his lower lip down and bears his teeth all the time and you would think that at any minute he would start drooling or tear into the flesh of his hot little pilot friend. ok enough about that, it won't affect my rating because the action in this game is awesome. and i have only barely begun to touch the multiplayer games. the end

This is hands down the best Star Wars game of any type I have ever played! The graphics are awesome, and the lightsaber duels are incredible. I've been playing it nonstop for four days now and I can't get enough. The new weapons in the game are cool, but I find myself playing almost exclusively with the saber. As the game progresses, you are simply unstopable as you knock roomfulls of enemies around with the Force and chop them into bits. Raven's attention to detail is amazing, and I have yet to encounter a bug of any kind. What are you waiting for? Get it NOW!
Best FPS I've ever played

I can easily say that SW: JKII is the best first-person shooter I've ever played. Lucasarts and Raven both collaborated to make a gaming masterpiece. With graphics that take your breath away and gameplay that consumes hours upon hours of your time, I have not been disappointed one second of playing. Another great aspect of this game is the challenge. Some first person shooters are just arcade-esque where you just run around killing things, (Don't get me wrong, I like those games as well.) Jedi Knight 2 has such great depth and puzzles involved. So to George Lucas and all those involved with creating this game, I salute you.
Better than the last one.

In the old days(how old-_-), lucas arts did all the development for star wars contents but I guess lucas arts were good at adventure genre(and still is and will be)but at other genre, so lucas arts alone weren't enough to handle all those various types of star wars contents and all those fancy movie things that need to converted into polygons. So I guess that made Lucas arts to let other developer companies(raven, barrent, bioware etc.) to put their own pro genre into star wars and give players a much better star wars experience.
This is one of the game born because of Lucas arts's decision that I explained.
What is good?
1.Great grahpics- It's hard to describe the great graphics but when you play it's hard to find slow-downs(I use a Riva TNT2 and didn't find much slow downs)
2.enemy hacking, bullet flying, no time for stopping gameplay- This star wars is all about action, you don't really need to worry about your health because you can charge it up to max with your force thing, and laser blasters even have machine gun mode and ammos are almost always found in enemy weapons, and if you don't won't to get hurt in the middle of a crossfire. Just use your lightsaber like carzy and buzz around like a mouse.(just a joke)
3.Great level design- need words(-_-)
What is bad?
1.Not much lightsaber tricks- swing. boomerang and what else
2.too action- too action sometimes mean repetative, make sure you get the demo before you purchase
Overall, Great star wars game, but if playing SIms,RCT are games that just right for your mind, this game won't be fun.
Best Game-Until KotOR

This game is awesome! I love all the awesome lightsaber moves and how the different levels of the Force Powers make the powers do different things! This compares quite favorably to Jedi Knight. For one thing, in Jedi Outcast, you actually flip when doing Force Jump, unlike Jedi Knight. This game is so realistic! If you're a fan of Star Wars, and really want to get into the Star Wars universe, this is the game for you!
