Why, Nintendo, why....

...why did you have to ruin such a good thing? My hours spent with the original Pikmin, chilling to the ambient music and exploring the gorgeous environments, were some of the best hours of my life. But this...all I can say is, it COULD have been amazing.

The only "pro" here is all the little treasures you get to collect. Each one is completely unique, and although they're all stuff that us normal people would consider trash (like bottle caps and empty cans), they have new names that make them sound glorious and awe-inspiring. It's hilarious to see.

But are these funny items scattered throughout a new set of picture-book-pretty worlds to explore? NO! Instead, you get to experience the beautiful outdoor environments for a period of about four seconds before being forced into a long series of underground tunnels. Seriously, the entire game takes place in the tunnels! Each tunnel is nearly identical to the last, and it gets extremely boring. And if things could possibly get worse than that, there are no more logic-puzzles to solve. No, the only thing you do in these underground labyrinths is fight monsters! I didn't mind the fighting in the first game, since it not the whole focus, but here, it gets extremely repetitive, extremely fast. After a few hours' worth of tunnel-crawling, I felt ready to cry from boredom and sheer disappointment.

Words cannot describe the sadness this game caused me. When the first Pikmin released, I felt like I had been given a VIP pass to my own private wonderland. With this second entry, my trip to paradise got tied up in tunnels.

when pikmin 2 came out I thought it would be dumb because the
first one was dumb I was wrong it was great just great and anyone
you thinks its dumb I'll have to chat with you

I played the game on my friends Nintendogamecube and loved it. It is a really fun game. Especially 2 player. In this game you control your little creatures called Pikmin. You can batlle other monsters or Pikmin. You throw them to make them attack. Once they die they reappear in your base. (two-player only.) You should really try it. You're going to love it. Don't look at it's age limit, it is acyua;;y for everybody including teens. (as myself is one.)

I can't wait until Pikmin 2 comes out! I've beaten the original Pikmin game, so I know how fun it is. I wish it would come out sooner.

I just got the game and I love it. I think it's better than the first because it has two more Pikmin and has no time limit. There are more areas to explore and you get to go underground. The graphics are very nice. I highly recommend everyone to buy this game.

BE PREPARED TO SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME FALLING BEHIND SCHEDULE BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO BUSY LOSING PIKMIN AND PULLING NEW ONES FROM THE GROUND LIKE WEEDS AND GETTING DIZZY FROM WALKING IN CIRCLES AND FIGHTING REALLY ANNOYING BUGS. THIS GAME IS LIKE TRYING TO BABYSIT 100 KIDS AT ONCE WITH DIFFERENT COLORED SHIRTS WHILE YOU ARE TRYING TO SORT THEM OUT AND GIVE THEM JOBS.

ohhhhhhhhh yaaaaaaaaaaa. finaly its here. pikmin 2. the last one was time like 3-4 minutes. and this one is not. wich is really good becouse the last one sucked becouse of that stupied limit.you have a little helper. both of you can hold 100 each.hehehe.I'm not going to tell everthing i know but,as you can see you have 2 new pikmin. i dont know what they do but it well be a surpies tete

I can't wait till Pikmin 2 releases in stores. I beat the first game easily so I want to play Pikmin 2 really bad! I think the purple pikmin and white pikmin will be so cool though you can only get them underground because they don't have Onions.

I am a teenager that recently bought this game. I have to say, it is wonderful. This game has many new features and it is a must buy. You use 2 space-men to lead an army of pikmin to find treasure to repay a 10,000 dollar debt. You raise these pikmin from seeds and pull them out of the ground. Both my 6 year oldbrother and i loved this game. It is a must buy!
