Pikmin 2 Is Great

Pikmin 2 is a great game and I hope you get it. It has great gameplay and graphics. It is a challenging strategy game and really tests the mind. What you do is you walk around with your 5 types of Pikmin and you find treasure so that you can pay off your debt. There is no time limit like the prequel, making it more fun, you can do what you want with out having to worry that you will run out of time. Your five Pikmin (red, who can withstand fire; Blue, who can walk in water; Yellow, who can jump higher and withstand electricity; White, who can withstand poison gas and find burried objects; Purple, who account for the strength of 10 pikmin. It is very strategic and you would love it.

Yes I have played this game, and never beat Pikmin 1 since it was to dang hard. The game was pretty fun with adding in whites and purples(go purples!) but there is downside with sacrifice for the new ones. I also hate how the dang ship talks to much. It's very annoying collecting all 10000 pokos to pay off the debt!

I hate at the end how you are flying back all happy with enough pokos and find out LOUIE IS GONE! You go back to Hocotate and stupid fat Mr. President comes, and the greedy hog wants MORE MONEY! It was his stupid fault they went in debt! NOW you need to collect 201(201!??!) treasures(I only had 101 to pay off my debt) AND find Louie! I never got all the treasure, or found Louie (IF YOU DID, TELL ME WHERE HE IS!!!)

Pikmin 2 is a TON better then a lot of other games I have played.
I t has a great story mode, 2p mode and I just love how cute the pikmin are. I would highly recomend this game to anyone!!!!!!!!

This game is great!!! If you've played the first Pikmin game then you must buy this one. There are countless enemies and creatures that are actually recorded in a "Piklopedia". Four huge areas that are very detailed and lively make each "day" fun. There is a new feature that allows you to switch from one commander to another to get more done. Two new Pikmin found only underground are other new features. <br /> There is now a two player mode that is very fun but to be honest, could have been better. It can only take place underground. Not bad but dissapointing. It also should have had a game type to see who can grow the most pikmin. The real way mutiplayer is played is you and a friend each have an "onion", one blue, the other red. in order to win you must get four yellow marbles or the marble at your enemy's onion. All in all this game is a great game.

Better than the original, fairly good replay value too!

I liked the original Pikmin game but it doesn't have great replay value, especially once you get your hands on the sequel! Pikmin 2 is fun and sweet, improving on the original game with smoother graphics and game function. The quests range from easy to challenging and I needed an online walkthrough to help me get past some difficult parts. I'd definitely recommend this game to friends who can see past the bright primary colors to a challenging puzzle-adventure game. It's fairly replayable because you can go back through to see how fast you can achieve the quests. You'll need a good walkthrough, so thank goodness lots of helpful folks online have written and posted them. Give the Pikmin world a try!

Great fun, exciting and even a bit scary a times, especially when those cute little guys get squashed or eaten. Really enjoy this game. A good adventure and graphics make it even better! Love It.

The first Pikmin game was one of the best games I had ever bought. Being a Puzzle/Action game, it brought the challenge of getting to new heights, and the Suspense of taking on the enemy. Pikmin 2 should be even better!

With a new assortment of Pikmin, their will be new puzzles to test the new pikmins' powers, and co-op mode if the new puzzles are too tough alone! The game will also have no time limit. While the 30 day limit in the first game was annoying, I believe it completed the challenge in the game. I do not know if Pikmin will reach the standards of the first game, but I am putting it on my Christmas list! :)

I LOVE PIKMIN 1 EXCEPT THE FACT THAT IT HAD a time limit it was so awesome when a friend told me about this i was so excited i went to nintendo.com and it was amazing the purple pikmin holding heavy things and albin able to go in poisinous gas this my friends is unbelivable if were all your parents i would know this is the ultimate pikmin game (well at least for now) but but all i gotta say is get that treasure because the piont is get treasure because olimar's company has a 10,000 poko debt so you and your new assistant of friend (two player co-op) can kick some (bleeep)

OK, I played the demo at a store. It featured the title screen and the challange mode. I tell you about both.

The title screen.

First the word Nintendo shows up. Pikmin start jumping on the letters. Every time you play, they jump differently. Then, you go to the tittle screen, where a group of Pikmin are making the words Pikmin 2. I found some secrets about the title screen:

Press the R button and the Pikmins will make the word Nintendo.
Press the X button to make a bettle appear.
Use the c-stick to move the bug around. The Pikmin will attack it
Press the Y button to make a Spooty Bulborb appear.
Use the c-stick to move it around.
Press the B button to make it eat Pikmin.
Press L to make everything normal again.

OK, on to the challange mode.

Great graphics, great music, and really fun!
You get a number of Pikmin and go in a cave. You have to find a key and take it back to the ship top (The top of the ship comes underground with you to collect treasure.)to open the hole to the next level. To beat it, get all the items, dont kill any Pikmin, and finish before time runs out.

The New Pikmin

(The new Pikmin you get by throwing a Pikmin into a Purple or White flower. They dont have and onyon.)

White

They are invincable to poison and are poisonius. They are small and fast. They can also dig for treasure.
(Tip: In a battle, feed the monster white Pikmin to poison it.)

Purple

They are 10 times stronger and slower than normal Pikmin. You can't throw them to far.
(Tip: Get the Purples flowered fast. The leaf ones a so slow, you have to keep going back to get them.)

BUY THIS GAME! ITS HAS TO BE GOOD! MR. MATOYO MADE IT!

This game is da bomb! (Compared too the first version) Their is no time limit and two new types of pikmin:White and Purple! When I found out that white poisions the bad guys when they died I tought" The white guys get all the fun but not really because they get eaten" But I think Olimar and his buddy seem to enjoy the bad guys getting poisioned! Each pikmin has a special abillity: Blue pikmin can be in water, Yellow pikmin can jump really high, Red pikmin can stand fire, and as I told you before white pikmin poision! I think this game deserves a thumbs up!
