iv`ve played pikmin 1 and 2, but pikmin 2 is most entertaining.
at the end of each day you get either a coraging or somewhat silly letter. in pikmin 2 instead of just olimar you can use his sidekick louie. sometimes i use him, other times he gets in the way.one of the most notable fwatures of pikmin 2 is the 2p battle mode. its really funny wathching pikmin kill eachother or trying to kill you. it is also somewhat educational from learning how to organize everything.in addition nintendo added purple and white pikmin. as you progress through the game you find thing to make your jorney esier. this game is a good game overall.

IT was better than pikmin1.It was the best stragegy game i ever
played.My favorite pikmin is the purple pikmin.

I played the first pikmin. It was great. The bad stuff= timed, short game boring stuff to collect. the good stuff =good graphics, amusing. now pikmin 2 is not timed, has good graphics, 2 players, more pikmin, better treasures and is amusing, too. the bad stuff about pikmin 2 is that it is SHORT like the first one. I suggest renting before buying it.

This game is the bomb. It has two brand new Pikmin, and is very addicting. Your little computer/rocket thingy is very annoying and sometimes repeats itself. Other than that, this game is perfect. When you first play the game, make sure that you don't get your Pikmin into the water. Only the blue Pikmin can survive in the water. There are no more day limits like in the original where you only have ___ amount of days to explore the planet. The only downside is that the days are really short. I hardly have time to do anything. This game is a must have.

I adore this game. I liked the first one also, but this one is even better. There are more colors of Pikmin than before. It's even educational as you must strategize your use of Pikmin to help collect items. This is one of those slighltly indescribable Japanese games like katamari.

Pikmin 2 is a great game; fun, intelligent, "viewtiful" and Multiplayer.
If u liked the first one, then don't waste time asking to yourself if this game is good, and go buy it, because you can't go wrong with this one.

The first Pikmin game was an great game, and #2 should be no different. The new Pikmin and the two player ability should make this game awesome. The no time limit thing is an interesting addition, but it seems like in this game the urgency to get things done is gone, so you can take things easy. This is kind of a good thing and kind of a bad thing.

This game kills the first version.

This version is da bomb! Hi I'm bob! In this game their are two new types of Pikmin. THe white pikmin get all the fun but not really. Red guys get FLAMETHROWERS! Burn Baddies, Burn!(Just Kiddin...)

I love Pikmin. I beat the first one like 30 times and half of those in 9 days. i showed to my friends. 2 out of 3 liked but the outlier i didn't. think would because it's not his type of game. Anyway, i know this game will be the best ever. it says it has a random dungeon generator. That is the coolest. Unlimited exploration that changes every tim you beat the game. I don't know how they could program that into a disc to make the gamecube randomly generate levels. That's just so utterly impressing. i also like the new additions of purple and white pikmin. i think that will help and yet add a new twist to the game and sometimes be even more confusing than the first since you will have to balance out proportions of how many of each kinsd of pikmin to get when getting parts. I hope the levels are mostly like the forest naval.The distant spring was overdone and the(i do not mean too large) the forest of hope was just too homy and hilly green looking yet i liked all of them. i think the game will mostly look like forest naval though since all the screenshots look just like it and the description of it is that it is a dungeon which is where the dungeon generator comes in to play. I cant wait. I have enormous gratitude for nintendo for making this two player. A lot of people that don't like the game probably would if it was two player. i love this game already.
The part i don't like is the elimination of the 30 day time limit. although it did make it harder than it already was i think it was a necessary addition to the game. it made you keep going and really made you think about what you had to do each day to get enough done. Although, as long as it keeps track of the day number in the game i shouldn't have a problem with it. I also kind of thought that the game was a little short. you would have to plan your days out to get it under 30 days and under 10 hours of gameplay, but if you don't it will take you awhile to get even one day over because you need atleast one part per day.I hope the new one is atleast a little bit longer.
This will probably be the first game i will ever buy the day it comes out.

These are the new pikmin. The pudgey are purple they can pick up huge things but they slow running. Albino are white with red flowers on there head. They can handle poiseness gasses . This game is going to be incredible. Resereve your copy today.
