THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD

You may have played Pikmin 1, but now the sequel is coming.One of the cool things about pikmin 2 is that you get to play as a co-op(two people playin at once). There is a multiplayer part where you play against other people and you get to kill each other. There are also new pikmin!There are still the old ones too.
Red-Survives fire, normal pikmin
Yellow-Picks up bombs, thrown extra high
Blue-Survives in the water
White-Poisinos to bulborbs(the mushroom dog things)
Purple-It is fat, Stronger than other pikmin
If you buy this game, then prepare for new challenges and harder enemys. If you play this game, then your mind will go crazy, because this game if filled with puzzles.When this game is out,GET IT!

number 1 one my must-have list!! i loved the first one,and the second one is no diffrent. pikmin2 fixes the few problems the original had and with some what new gameplay, with two new types of pikmin and the return of the other three and the no- time limit levels,yes , i have high hopes for this one!!
bottom line: if you liked the first one, pikmin2 is a must have for next year! -mike

I played pikmin 1 over and over again, and i have been waiting for the sequel, i think it will be a possible game of the year, i have to say though shigeru has yet to make another masterpiece to match zelda and mario.

At E3 this year there were a lot of new games that caught everyone's eye. However, probably one of the most amazing looking games that was on my list even before the event was, Pikmin 2. The original was very innovative, unique, and a lot of fun. This one plans to be even better than the others, because of all the new, additional concepts. Just a few examples include new Pikmin with interesting new abilities; such as greater strength, ability to survive in certain conditions, and greater agility. On top of that there will be different monsters, a different storyline, and even a 2 player mode. The two player mode looks a lot like the challenge mode from the original game. Anyway, it looks like a lot of fun, and is definetly the game to get come this fall.

Pikmin 2 picks up after Pikmin 1. Olimar is returning with his friend to collect valuable "treasures" which happen to be everyday objects, but since they are only a few inches tall, everything is large. This game uses the old Red (fire resistant), Yellow (electric resistant), and Blue (water resistant) Pikmin adding white (poison resistant and treasure detector) and Purple (worth 10 regular Pikmin). It also enhances the classic play with two player challenges much like the original game where players work together to reach the end of a level within a specific time, while collecting the most treasure.

While some argue that this is the better of the two Pikmin games, I believe that each stand on their own as creative and unique games that provide a different perspective on on not only everyday items but also gaming.

As much as I loved the first game I enjoy and love this sequel much more.
The 30-day time limit was always getting on my nerve; I had to rush through every level without being able to enjoy the game.
Fortunately the time limit has been completely eliminated from this game, this way the enjoyment level of this game is such higher and the quality of the game is significantly improved.
Despite of the extremely annoying time limit in the first game it was still something completely new in the gaming world, the pure originality of the game was conceivable and despite its obvious originality I still find the sequel to be a significant improvement over the first game.

Story: picks off right from where the last game ended Olimar returns but only to find out that his boss is on rink of bankruptcy, so, he sets off once again to the world of Pikmin, but this time to collect everything he can to pay off his boss' dept.
But you need not fear, this time he has a partner in crime: Louie.

Graphics: stunning but that's what to be expected from every new game released these days.
The texture is incredible and the detailed graphics are totally incomparable, nice backgrounds as well. Light and shadow effects are also amazing.

Audio/ music: great audio and even more amazing game score.
The score is totally immersive; most of the songs are often quite but beautiful lullabies which suits this game perfectly. The audio side is impeccable as well.

Closing comment: Pikmin 2 is a significant improvement over the first which was great; this sequel has so much more to offer a gamer, more longevity, better game play, and improved graphics and audio/ music.

A real-time strategy war game...but cuter.

They look cute, but little Pikmin can beat up monsters pretty quickly. And number 2 is an incredibly good game.
There are many differences with the sequel that raise it to a higher level. In the first game your character, Olimar, had a time limit to dig up all the parts to his ship. The sequel has no time limit--you can spend as long as you want to dig up treasure to get your company out of debt. The two extra types of Pikmin also add many dimensions to the game. The purple Pikmin are heavyweight lifters and strong attackers. The white Pikmin are hidden treasure detectors and are poisonous.
Although the game starts off easy, the final levels are extremely challenging. The bosses are very tedious, especially near the end. However, this game has an incredible amount of depth, and you will probably play some levels over and over again just to get all the treasure.
Some parts of the game are difficult. Pikmin 2 makes selecting the Pikmin you want to throw easier, by letting you choose with the D-pad. However, you may have trouble selecting only certain colors of Pikmin to fulfill certain tasks. You are supposed to select the group you want to move with the B-button. If you press it, a ring will appear, calling out all the Pikmin within that ring. It gets tedious choosing only certain colors of Pikmin, especially if you want to have only the red (flame-retardant) Pikmin attack the fire-breathing monsters.
However, this is only a minor concern in a great game. It resembles a real-time strategy game, like Warcraft, but far cuter. It resembles Lemmings, but more elaborately task-oriented. Pikmin 2 is pretty unique. It isn't my favorite, but it's still very good.

pikmin 2 is the best game i have!it isnt timed its multiplayer, and theres more pikmin!( and more enemies!)Plus, its more challenging!I gave it a 3 star cause before but now i think its the best! buy it, dont bother renting it!

I think it's really fun because it's not hard to play and the pikmin are really cute. I started playing this game when I was only 6, and now I'm 7. There are some challenges, but it's still really fun. I just love this game!

Oh guys you know that I have to play it with two hands. In this one you friend come down too and play but you can be both. You can be both but one thing-- I KNOW YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME! It good for puzzles and it teaches you not to play in fire or the woods.
