Good Game

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 1 / 6

This is a really good game. There are some bumps that can be sorted out, like I had to install this game on my Dad's computer because the video was always gerky.

It is fun to fly the ships of the line and to expirience different missions.

The controls you need to get used to.

You start out with Captain Archers Enterprise. In the first mission you are shown how to control the ship and to do combat.

Thru the next few missions you need to stop this toxin from being spread to planets by the Romulans.

Then you have to save Earth from an invasion.

Next you get to play Captain Kirk's Enterprise, and you need to capture a Klingon Bird of Prey.

Thru the next few mission one try to stop the Klingons from using a new superweapon on the Federation.

You then get to be Picard's Starship Stargazer and stop a bunch of astroids.

Next you swich to Picard's Enterprise-D and have to rescue the Defient from the Romulans.

Next you are Picard's Enterprise-E and you start fighting the Borg,
You stop an invasion of Deep Space 9 and join forces with the Klingons and the Romulans and fight the Borg.

Next you stop an invasion of Earth by the Borg.

You then chase the Borg Queen to a nebula and fight the Borg in a final showdown.

Moving your ship... the only con to thuis game... that and the ROmulans wont die int he campaign.. still lookin for a cheat to skip levels... not liekly though. But the skirmishes are aweosme! im usually a Borg cuz they reap in the kills. Bu this game, but play the campaign first for a bit of a tutorial, then ull get the hang of it. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE! IF THUS GAME IS NOT PURCHASED A Borg Cube might come calling. hehehehe

A fun and enjoyable game. Not the best game ever conceived by any means but it gets the job done and it's entertaining.

Not a bad game

This game requires a fast modern graphics card. It did not play well on my nvidia FX5200. Being able to play the ships that you have seen on the shows and movies is awesome. My personal favorite is Voyager, because she is fast and easy to control.

Not too bad...

I'm not an avid gamer, but I am a terminal Trek fanatic. I was excited about this game coming out, since I could not load Starfleet Command 3 on my new PC with Windows XP.

I find the game entertaining, if not a bit frustrating that you cannot save mid-mission (I must have replayed the 5th mission 10 times until I figured out how to warp all my ships).

I do enjoy piloting the starships, and the combat action. However, like most other Trek PC games, they could have done a better job setting it up.

Avoid this Game

Only a star trek fan like me would have tried to enjoy this extremely buggy, extremely poorly designed PC game.

Its terrible.

Star Trek Legacy is a fun game and good story line the one thing that does not give this game 5 Stars is the movement of the ships is diffcult.
If you are a Star Trek fan you will probly like it.

the worst game I ever bought

this game is a lemon, I can't believe I wasted my hard earned money on such trash.

Even worse than Starfleet Command

This game was bad! The controls are hard to use, there is no joystick interface, and no ability to change the controls in the game. The game takes forever to do anything. Destroying one ship is a chore and I have no confidence that further gameplay will allow me to get any better. After all the hype for this game I was extremelly disappointed. For not having a new Star Trek game for a couple years, you would think they would put one out of better quality. If you want a Star Trek game, I would suggest Star Trek Bridge Commander. I still like that one. In STBC you can fly the ship in a similar way to this game if you like, and it is easier to manuver. Otherwise you can have the con officer fly and just command from the captain's chair. So it gives you a few choices. But I would either find another game or save your money. Because Star Trek Legacy is not worth your time or money.

I was a bit skeptical when I acquired this game, feeling that this genre of this series had been done one too many times. However, the game delivered nicely for another version. My only beef with the game was that its controls were difficult to master, causing the initial missions to go on longer than they needed to. Other than that, a most enjoyable installment in the Star Trek series.
