I bought this game for 5 bucks at a local retail store and wasn't expecting much but this game is absolutely huge and extremely detailed, not to mention very fun. Some people have mentioned the graphics being dated, but even so they're very detailed and stylized. Sure there are no 3d texture mapped polygons or gratuituous FMVs every three seconds...that's why I liked it! Plus it has all the original cast voices and sound fx which perfectly recreate the feel of the series. A lot of time and care went into this game and it really shines. If you're a Star Trek fan you'll LOVE it, and even if you're not and you just want a fun, old school game to play then definitely check this one out.
Great Star Trek Game!

I have been playing for a week and haven't had any problems with this game. The graphics are really good and the sound pulls you into the game. A couple times some encounters made me jump, and that is rare in a game. If you liked the first Elite Force then you should like this one too. There is one mission that you get to some some space walking on the Hull. One mission you have to manually control a turrent on the Starship in order to save it. This is just a task of the missions. This game is fun to play!

Great Game. Superb graphics. I would also like to say that the woman who cancelled the order because their is no Alexendra Munro is passing up the best sequel ever. Her raiting of 1 star was based on her thinking the company was marketig to men only. If it bothers you that much go get Laura Croft Tomb Raider.
Well Crafted Game

As a life-long gamer and Star Trek fan, let me tell you that Elite Force II is the greatest Star Trek game to date, followed closely by its predecessor, Elite Force. In Elite Force II you continue as Alex or Alexandra Monroe and lead the Hazard Team through missions that are too dangerous for normal away teams. Though the game starts out on the USS Voyager, in continuation from the first Elite Force, you are soon transferred to the USS Enterprise-E where you get to stroll about this incredibly advanced ship in all of its glory. With a good graphics card, Elite Force II provides astonishingly well rendered graphics true to the Star Trek universe in every detail. All of the weaponry and computer systems in this game are more advanced than those from the previous Elite Force and show the evolution of the game with the real life franchise. One of my favorite features of Elite Force II is the ingenious integration of the tricorder to fix computer systems, reroute power, and scan for life signs and structural integrity weaknesses. This adds to the level of realism and truly makes you feel like you are a Starfleet officer. The missions are both fun and challenging and provide a first hand look into the universe of Star Trek. I highly recommend this game to both gamers and Star Trek fans alike - you won't be disappointed.

I've been a die hard fan of the Starfleet Command series since it came out. Starting with SFC1 I had finally found a game that would hold my interest for years!
...I couldn't wait...bought it, installed it, played it, HATED IT!! This game is so far removed from the other 3 titles and it is a joke. By trying to appeal to the TNG fans and to attract new customers, the game was simplified to the point of a 7 year old could play it and win. Go into reverse and fire...that is it...no tactics nada.
It is a shame that such a great Game title has gone to the dogs....

The graphics are [bad]. What a piece of garbage! Armada was far superior! I ended up unistalling this waste of money 10 minutes after installing it. Go with the original if you haven't played it, or Bridge Commander. Much better choices.
Finally, after all these years....

I played the first Elite Force and enjoyed it tremendously. There's not much replay value for the single-player missions, but they are still a heck of a lot of fun the first time through. A lot of good, thorough work went into the game and it shows. But Elite Force II looks like it will take Star Trek gaming one step further. Not only does it look beautiful, not only does it look and sound like a ton of fun, but the game also looks to help me realize a dream of mine for the past 16 years: to blast Captain Picard out of existence. Hopefully, he will babble on and on with his pretentious, pedantic, sanctimonious, self-righteous moralizing that always manages to place him on the wrong side of every ethical and moral dilemma. He may even be condescending towards me or dare to give me orders. And then that's it....I will equip one of the many fantastic weapons available to me and no more Picard. Maybe I can even cut him off in the middle of one of his tirades on the Prime Directive. Q would be so proud.....
