Ok Mario Party is fun.....! But i think that a 4 is not good. Mario Party one was very good, two was ok and 3 was sooo boring and just the same again. I know everybody is going to say oh, but this one is diferent is for NGC, but is always the same. So if you already have one mario party that will do, but if you dont hava anyone but the 4 for the NGC......

I bought this game after reading reviews that said it was great - i was very disapointed! If you have never played a Mario Party game before heres the deal - you and 3 other players COM or friends take turns on a board game...after all 4 players have had a turn you play a mini-game...The main problem I had with this game was the fact that you have to wait for the game - you have to wait for intros and movies etc and it just gets boring beacuse everything takes too long! If you want some fun multiplayer action and still be able to play by yourself buy monkey ball!

I brought this game 2 days ago and seriously its reallllly boring. I will never lie. Please dont waste your money.
First time was really amazed at the grapics and the demos they had in store, but when you really play it the mini games are not mini but ultra very mini mini and dont last long like 30 sec. Admit graphics are cute and good.
-mini games are very boring
-wait to long for the games
-GET SUPER MONKEY BALL INSTEAD (AWESOME)

Well this game is a good game the has a lot more games then Mario Party 3! There are a lot of people to use like: Mario, Luige,Peach,Wario and Waluige. There are all new items! This game rocks!!!

Not targeted for older gamers

Because it's a Mario-titled game, that is usually the case. I like this game, so don't get me wrong here, but this game is really targeted towards those 12 and under, at the MAX. I'm a 16 year old, and personally I found this game to be very childish. The GameCube in general doesn't have very many games targeted towards my age group (good thing I've got a PS2 too...), and Mario Party 4 is no exception. While many mini-games are fun and addictive, this game just won't fly with older gamers. If you are getting this for someone 12 or under, they will love it, but don't get it for anyone older. If you do, it will get old, FAST.

Graphics:3/5 there nice but a bit outdated for today
Sound:3.5/5 I wish they had the classic mario music,but you have annoying taunts to annoy your friends!
Gameplay:4/5,a bit thin in story,but so much fun in multiplayer.
Replay:5/5,never gets old.

buy it if u need multiplayer fun,or since the story is about getting birthday presents,buy it on your friends birthday

If you like paying $19.95 for a simulation of a board game then Mario Party 4 is for you.
I see no point in purchasing this game at all, many might be intrigued at first but as you unlock all the minigames and boards etc you realize " what the hell is the point of this game? ".
There is absolutlety no substancce to it at all, it's like playing Monopoly or Life but nevertheless it does have great minigames. The only reason I bought this game was to unlock all of the minigames which I eventually did and got bored of it, despite that my favorite minigame is got to be Trace Race I dominte at that.
Overall this game has no point to it and is good for six year olds who think board games are fun. This is definetly NOT something you want if you're a hard-core gamer. You're better off renting this hideous monster Nintendo calls a video game then wasting $19.95.

Its kinda fun for 15 minutes but after that it gets boring but after a few hours its fun again so its OK.
