I know this is only the 1st MP I played-but I call it the 2nd best MP ever!In this game you can play as DK unlike MP5,the Boswer mini-games are better-just great!Reson why this got 4 stars- the Bonus and Super Duel mode in MP5.But this is fun AND great!

Defenetly better then Mario party 5!

The reason I think mario party 4 is better then 5 is because a couple of reasons... 1.The mini games are better! 2.The boards dont go in circles and have better spaces! 3.There is a store so you can actully get what you want. 4.The mini game rooms kick[!] 5.I'm not absoulotly positive but I think the graphics are a little better in number 4!

Deffently a better purchase.

This game is so entertaining! My friends and I have hours of fun on this game, trying different charactors, different items, different levels. We have hours of fun with this game on our get togethers. Sometimes we had to be torn away from the screen. It is a great party game and will give you something to do all day long. The objectives, obstacles, and rewards are a big yes, and the mini games are a real bonus! I recommend this to anyone!

mario party 4 is a fun game. It's fun to play with you're friends. If you're into games with basically every topic (fighting, adventure, etc.)then this game's for you.

MArio PArty 4 is some decent fun for about an hour or so,then becomes annoying.I think it is really made for small children.Some kids around the ages of 6 to 9 will think it's great fun.Basically the game involoves a giant board game that involves some quite fun mini games here and there.It is worth a try but I do NOT recommend that anyone BUY it!

In Mario party 4 a new character appers. His name is Waluigi. These characters will make have fun. If you don't have this game and you have a party rent it. You could play in the battle modes in two teams. Each team will have 2 people in it as i got from nintendo. ...

... this game is ok, it just depends what kind of gamer u are. i had never played a whole game of any of the previous ones, because it sounds really boring. my freind got it, and invited me over, and of course he wants to play it. i wasnt to excited at first because it sounded like a board game on a screen. and those like the name suggests, are really easy games to get board on. I played any way, figuring i could squeze in an excuse to go play football or something more entertaining, but once i started, i was in for a big surprise. it was wwaayy funner than i thought it would be. now dont think that that makes it a great amazing game, or youre underestimating how bad i thought mario party was. The begining was really boring, just rolling the dice, but eventually, when all the rolling was done, we got into a mini game. Now, right about then i was ready to suggest going outside, because i was already bored. Now, most people might think that what i right next is what changed my mind about this game. actually it didnt. thw "mini game" was easy, and boring. all u did was try to press buttons really fast, and try to beat the other people who were pressing buttons really fast.

BORING

i asked my freind the question, because i was starting to think that this couldnt get any worse, and if it did, then i might not be able to even think about video games again. OK, that was a bit dramatic, but u get the point. He says sure (thank the LLOORRDD), but then asks if he could check a new mini game. He does, and this is what changed my veiw on the game. There is not just a lot of button pressing, but also a lot of stratigy. actually, theres none, really it is just a lot of button pressing, but what video game isnt? these games where fun to a cerain point, but im guessing it would get boring after a while. well, thats my review, and i hope nintendo seriously thinks about changing mario partys name.

I would have giving it a 3/5 stars, but i was afraid no one would see it if i did that.

Well everything about this game has already bean said said except the following. I was really excited about this mainly because i thought they would put in some new characters like Fox or Kirby etc. PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS GAME!! DON'T EVEN WAISTE YOUR MONEY ON RENTING IT. PLAY IT AT A FRIENDS HOUSE OR SOMETHING!!

I am a huge fan of mario party games. except for this one. This game is boring. I will tell you a few reasons. The loading time on the game is terrible. By loading time i mean like the corny animations they add in to make it more "cool". And in the mini game room to get from one game to another takes forever. In 3, you can just hit the A button to play again. In 4 they removed that feature.

In mario party 3 the maps you play on are way better. The new maps are soooo dumb.

They removed a few features too like the good layout of the mini game room (previously mensioned) and they took out duel mode.

Aside from the graphics and the mini games the game made no improvements. The only thing I can honestly say i like in the new game are some of the more complicated mini games. Overall, mario party 3 is better. don't say that because it is older it can't be better cause trust me, it is.
