THE BEST GAME EVER ON EARTH

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 3 / 9

YOU MUST GET YHIS GAME BECAUSE IT IS FUN. IT MAY BE EASY BUT IT IS ALWAYS VERY VERY FUN. I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD OWN THIS VERY VERY FUN VIDEO GAME. GRAPHICS DON'T MATTER WHEN YOU ARE HAVING LOTS OF FUN.I THINK HAVING FUN IS MORE INPORTANT THAN GRAPHICS AND CONTROLS AND ALL THAT STUFF THAT PEOPLE JUDGE A GAME BY. A GAME IS MADE TO HAVE LOTS OF FUN.

A groundhog day game of the worst kind.

This game really blows. It has great graphics, it is a chore, it's on rails, and it's short. The game designers made it harder not longer. This is the number one blunder of developers under a time crunch and it's evident that this game is a nice graphics engine slapped on top of a movie plot. WEAK. This game could have been SO much more. Take a look at the TEXT only moria style game TOME (Troubles of Middle Earth.) Now there is a game engine with ample plot.

Number one game design rule: Longer not harder.
Number two game design rule: Creating a twitch fest limits your audience. (Long combos with different button presses.)
Number three game design rule: Freedoms increase your game appeal.

This game is weak and it is totally disappointing. Don't buy it, don't rent it.

This game is sooooo awesome! Once you start playing the game, all you want to do is kick some orc butt! The graphics make you feel like you're in the movies. At the beggining of each level, I have to check the corner of the screen, to see if my health bar has popped up yet. This game is great because it lets you choose from the strongest fighter of almost every race,(f.y.i. elves, dwarves, men). Once you beat certain levels, your map will let you open special features, like interviews of actors, and some awesome pics from the movie. Get this game, or you will be BORED for the rest of your life!!! ;(

This game is a really great game. It is a challenge but a fun challenge. If you are a very advanced gamer it would probably only take a little while to beat it. I am not a very good video game player so it is just perfect for me. It is a little short but I would not let that discourage you from getting the game. I also think it would be fun to have two players but it is still and great game. There are lots of interviews and extras for you to unlock which makes it even more fun. I would really suggest you get this especialy if you are a LOTR fan.

Solid Middle Earth fun for all ages.

I purchased this game for my teenage son and never expected to get involved in the play. However, after watching a few exchanges of his play, I became the one more interested in this game.

One of the features I love most about the game are the movie clip portions that "set up" each new level of play. If you've read the books or seen the movies, the clips add an anchor to the story which gives the game a quality of middle earth realism. The game scenes and experiences stay true to the movie.

Each level is playable as each of three characters; Legolas, Aragorn, or Gimli. Each of these characters has various strengths and different weapons to use. As you successfully complete each level, opportunities become available to improve skills and weaponry.

The game deserves its Teen rating due to animated violence. The player participates in the fighting by viewing all of the action as opposed to engaging enemies head to head or first person position.

Lots of fun that sticks to the story.

This game is awesome!

You should get this game. It is really fun and, indeed, some parts are challenging (such as the last two levels of helms deep) but I think it is one of the best. I've played the return of the king. it's pretty much the same except for they kinda fine tuned the graphics and added multi player modes. but who needs graphics when it's a great game? I mean for all I care, I could play it in 2-D. Also the return of the king has like ten players you could choose from and two towers only has four (one secret character at the end).

The Greatest game ever!!!

Cool Extras, Mediocre Game

LOTR-2 Towers is definitely fun for me as a fan of the movies, however as a game it leaves alot to be desired. The unlockable interviews and behind the scenes stuff is great. It is also totally cool that they used the real actors from the movie to do the voices. However the game itself was quite a let down, the combo's turn into button mashing pretty quickly and the game IS TOO SHORT! You will probably finish within a few hours with any experience at gaming. Definitely a great rental but not really worth buyng.

*sigh* Was expecting more

Well, I had beaten LOTR: The Return of the King which was incredibly fun and had a great set-up. So I decided to work my way backward through the games, starting with LOTR: The Two Towers. Wow! It was horrible, the graphics were much worse the LOTR: The Return of the King, I started and the intro where you learn how to fight was just sad. It was the same buttons as before but it took forever for it to explain them all, and it was dull, nowhere to go, so you had to just sit there waiting for Orcs. After what seemed like forever I moved onto the next scene. The fighting was horrible, I could have taken "The Nine" in LOTR: The Return of the King but the combat in this game wasnt any good so the moves that happened so quickly before were slowed down to an agonizing rate! I finnaly decided that if its going to be that bad now why sit here and deal with the whole game. I thought it would be much better than it was and I advise you to exclude this from your shopping list.

LORD OF THE RINGS BEST GAME EVER

Well first off this game is extremely fun, you may not want to use gimli; as he is the slowest so he gets hit alot and doesn't carry a good ammo of throwing weapons. Legolas and aragorn's equipment is also better. Legolas's last bow can shoot through people! This is for people the have PS2, always buy sword (or axe) upgrades. the reason why is each have a secret attack locked in side them but once you buy new swords they will still have the old attack. i can only give this one away: after you get the second upgraeded ground weapon you can hold down Triangle (PS2) and your sword (or axe) will start to glow white(legolas) green(aragorn) or red ... thats all i gotta say well thank you for reading this.
