If you have the original Simas game, then this expansion pack is required. In this one you get to have pets, enough said. You will like the pets and all the other new stuff you can buy, as well as all the new neighborhood stuff. This expansion is another major plus in the Sims franchise.

Cool as dogs drool.

I found The Sims Unleashed a very entertaning game.the fact that you could buy animals was the reason i wanted to get it. the fact that it was fun, graphicaly brilliant and amazingly great to play were just bonuses.
i have lent this game to all my freinds, who almost imeadietly after giving it back went and brought their own copies. i would recomend this game to everyone out their!

The sims enleashed llows you to have pets, some new careers, and lots of new items. The game is just awesome (except for the fact that the pets pee all over the place) but the only problem is that it takes really long to load every time you play, even with a fast modem.Other than that, I would highly reccomend this game!

When I bought The Sims Vacation I didn't enjoy it very much. And when I saw this one, I almost knew it would be worse. But, I decided to buy it anyway... hey, what's there to lose other than money? Then when I began to play it I became intrested and also I had quite a bit of fun with it. Overall, I would reccomed this game, but the only problem is that when you buy a pet, you can't controll it... in other words the pets have a mind of their own.

If you like sims you will like this game. My pets are so cute and when I go to the pet store I want to buy every dog and cat available! I absolutely love da game!

I have all the sims games!! And I love them, but I do find myself agreeing with the other reviews in general. Mostly, the job thing-- U spend hours, days , even months building skills like cooking-- and charisma and so on, yet u dont really get to put them to work , except cooking and mechanical. I agree with the ideas of allowing ur children to grow up or at the least be able to create a child of teen status as well as 4 and 5 yrs olds and there really being a difference, I am highly addicted to the game and the last 4 expansion packs have really given us lots to do but really nothing different to choose from as far as deco and walls and building and such. I hate spending hours online downloading just for something to work out or whatever, at first it is kinda fun but then it gets boring as well as it takes up way to much space, slows the game down, and dont always play with good quality in the game itself. Sure u can clean it out delete remove or whatever but still it isnt the same functions or quality that comes in the game itself, and it really takes alot of the fun out of the game{as well as playtime} heehee any way i really think they really ought to make a addon not expansion of say items only. U know something where u can install new items and clothing but still be able to play on say Unleashed only with the new objects. NONE of the objects actually work in a room together, so yea i say GREAT GAME but is definitly lacking in areas. The pet thing and the new neighborhood GR8 Job!!!

This is the best expansion pack! It makes the sims so much more realistic! If you are a beginner I would get this and the sims deluxe edition. It is so fun!
To access the cheats screen press shift+ctrl+c.
Here's a cheat type in move_objects on to place things out-of bounds. Also type in rosebud;!;! and highlight the ;! and press ctrl+c then press ctrl+v and hold that until you hear a strange sound. Then, you highlight that, press ctrl+c, then enter then press the shift+ctrl+c combo and press ctrl+v then enter and repeat that step over and over and you will become a multi-millionaire!

I almost didn't buy this because I was so annoyed at how much trouble Vacation caused. But they seem to have solved some of the vacation problems. Load time is decreased (although still 5 minutes if you have a lot of custom downloads), moving between neighborhoods is back to being seamless, and You don't have to wait a minute or more for each pie menu to show up.

New pets are much much fun. :) Although, a hint: I have not been able to successfully keep birds in any house with a cat. The kitties keep eating the birds, and I haven't been able to stop it from happening.

Gardening is an adventure, although if you are a perfectionist, it can end up being a full time job. The Garden pests are frustrating, but I suppose it's like real life in that way. My hint on this one: have at least one cat, and train them to hunt.

I haven't done much with the new jobs yet, but there are 5 new tracks that look quite interesting.

This has been the most fun since the Sim's first came onto the scene. I have downloaded many "pets" and the wait was well worth it. Thank you to all of the fans that created on-line pets without all of you Maxis may not have done so well! Unfortunately I will be putting those pets to rest Except for Spooky my cornsnake and Porky the Pig...

This sound like a realy fun game! I've read all the reviews by other Sims [fanatics], and they make it sound really cool. I'm going to pre-order it .
