Sims Unleashed is a lot of fun. Sims can now have pet cats, dogs, birds, fish, lizards, and turtles. It's a great addition to the Sim world, and there's some great new objects to have fun with too. There's a new place to visit outside the house now, called Old Town, where you can go to the farmer's market or the park. Overall, it's an expansion pack worth getting. It's disappointing, however, that while you can control the actions of the humans in the game, you can't control the actions of the pets, so they have to eat, sleep etc. on their own. Also, because of the way the neighborhood screen is set up now, when you make a change to an Old Town building in neighborhood #1, that change doesn't carry over to the other neighborhood screens, even though it's the same Old Town (unless you've built/demolished buildings).
Really great.

My brother used to have this game, so I got to play it- and let me tell ya, it's amazing.
A lot of people complain that The Sims did not have enough things to do, furniture, ect. Well this will fix that. There are new skins, furniture, wallpapers, floor tiles, and of course, pets.
You can train your dogs or cats to win shows or just entertain you. Dogs will water the garden, scare off raccons and fetch the paper while cats hunt mice, cockroaches, gophers and rabbits- and they look darn cute doing it! Or maybe you'd prefer an easier pet to take care of, such as birds, a turtle, a hamster or an iguana.
Dogs and cats can also have babies. When it grows up, you can either keep it as a new pet or sell it for a reasonable profit. Because of this it is even possible to breed cats and dogs to sell their babies for easy money.
If pets are not enough for you, this expansion lets your sims take up gardening. They care for a garden and when their crops are harvested you can either store it in a pantry for your sims to eat or go to Old Town and sell it.
that's another thing, Old Town.
In Old Town you can buy your pets. You can also buy pet treats, toys, seeds to plant crops, snacks, and a variety of trinkets for your home. And Old Town is not just for buying things! you can take the whole family out to play in the park or bring a single sim to meet others. And you can build these lots too.
Another neat feature is that you can now build houses without moving into them, just in case you feel like building but not making a whole new family. I love this because it means I can build a house for my sims to live in later.
This is a great game, but be careful not to spend too much time on it. Believe me, times goes fast when you're playing The Sims.

If you are a pet lover, this expansion pack is definitely one to get! I absolutely love the addition of pets to the game - it's one of those extras that adds a new dimension of play to the game... as if you weren't already addicted enough... :)
Awesome!

This game is AWESOME!! It's truely the ultimate sim. In this busy world of games, it's rather hard to find a suitable and calming sim game. But here it is - The best sim of all time. With pets, many new jobs (including owning a market), and of coruse, a downtown. It's all the "old" expansions molded into one super-game. You should get it! It's totally awsome!
Finally... pets

I was so glad when this expansion came out. Every family needs a pet.. There are only 2 things that I didn't like about it. The first is that potty training a puppy is a total pain. Mine is always peeing all over the house at night, and my sim won't wake up in time to discipline him. The second is that you can't just hug and kiss your pet any old time. They have to really like you first... and don't forget to buy treats for them. It'll make them like you faster.

Hey everyone in Sim Land!! I would just like to say that I, too, love playing the Sims Unleashed. There are a few problems, however, and I'd just like to let them be known. When you go to community lots, the WHOLE family HAS to come, which is not very ideal because of the glitches in "public" areas, especially if you purchase anything. Any time you attempt to buy anything in the community lots, the game will slow WAAAAAAAYYYYYYY down. I'd say it takes a good half an hour real time to buy a dog, a collar, and call the trolley to pick you up. This is not a memory problem with my computer. I have 192 megabytes worth of memory, as compared to the 64 MB that computers usually are bought with. So, if you want to have pets for your Sims, prepare to be EXTREMELY patient, and learn to except the fact that they'll never include overhead counters for your kitchen in any expansion pack.
A Must!

This add on is the best! It expands the neighborhood and gives you the chance to give your sims pets. The pets become part of your family and yes they become family members that you do have to look after. In addition you can also grow your own gardens. This add on is yet another add on that joins the many other add ons to the game. Maxis may be a little greedy and want to make as much money as possible but I feel that this add on is worth paying another $ for. If you have all the other add ons are you really going to stop now? Get it! You won't be sorry. This add on makes the game better then it already is.

The New Sims Unleashed, recenty put out in stores, is probably the most fun and cool SIMS GAME EVER!!! This brand new Sim game allows you to do things with your sims that you couldn't have ever done before! There are now BIGGER NEIBORHOODS, n ew characters like the pet trainer, 5 BRAND NEW CAREER TRACKS, and of course the big one PETS!!! You can also go grocery shopping, grow your own vegtable garden, and visit the pet store! Though also, like with other sim games, this expansion pack very powerful and can crash your computar! Roger That! But if you and your computar can handle the best, most fun computar game in time, you'll be glued to it for life! Guarenteed!!!

HERE IS THE SCOOP: PERSONALLY I LOVE IT, YOU CAN ADOPT ALL KINDS OF PETS, AND OWN TONS OF STORES BUT IT TAKES A VERY LONG TIME TO LOAD, EVEN ON MY NEW COMPUTOR! IT TAKES SO LONG TO ADOPT THE PETS AND TO GET THE SIMS TO TRANSFER TO DIFFERENT PLACES. IT IS KIND OF A WASTE OF MONEY, I HAVE ALL OF THEM BUT I THINK I SHOULD OF ON aMERICAN iDOL!
