I actually purchased the system as a present for my brother, but until I get it to him for X-Mas I've been going to my local video store and renting games
. I rented this on a 5 day rental plan, and I returned it early because I was bored with it quickly. And as I said, I'm not a gamer, so that might say a lot, as the lack of additional cities and drivers, and car options made me bored quite quickly. And what was the point with the license?? No indication if the player receives any extras for earning a top notch license.
Loved Rogue Squadron, Super Monkey Ball, and Wave Race, as all of these were quite challenging and kept me captivated. So much so, that I almost returned them late. My suggestion is to simply do what I did - rent it, and save your money for a game that will keep your attention for a longer period of time.

After playing this on my Gamecube, I would have to say that this is awful! Do not buy it! Yeh, When crazy taxi came out for arcade, it was a HIT! And, I admit it, I was one ok the people thrilled that It can out for the Dreamcast. But I have to say that this game is BORING!!! It is good for about 30 minutes... but then It just gets old! You don't do ANYTHING! Picking people up and droiping them off, even with all the crazyness of driving how you want gets real boring, real fast. My advice to anyone is not to spend [money] on this peace of [junk]! Don't even rent it... Just back away... slowly...

Worst Game I Have ever played. Terrible Next to Simpsons Road Rage! Isn't worth a damn penny. I gave this game one star for a reason and if the chance came by I would have given it 2 stars.

Come on people how many times can we keep repeating the crazy taxi. we had it on dreamcast,Playstation 2, and now the Gamecube. crazy taxi was great on the dreamcast but unless you have been locked up in a cage from video games. then i am guessing you already played this game and beat it. It old. do not buy it

This game is very repetitive and doesn't really have a main goal to reach. You drive around and pick up people over and over again and it gets old fast. Buy the simpsons road rage because it has all the characters you know and love and is also a great multiplayer game. Crazy taxi has too many techniques that you have to learn and which I didn't understand. I play a lot of video games and if I have trouble with it then there must be something wrong with it for me to not be able to do it at all. I think this game has no point so don't waste your money on it. Buy the simpsons road rage.

I bought crazy taxi cause the reviews said that it was good. Crazy taxi has no point in the game, there is no story nothing to do but pick up guys and take their money. I reccemond you do not buy this game cause it [tinks] I gave it 1 star cause the day i bought the game i hated it.

why do you drive in crazy taxi. i have seen more crazy stuff in a bathroom stall. You know like when there is a cat on you and you got cramp thats when it gets exiciting. Monkeys in balls are cute [;ease s[are them. Have you ever played the first pong i mean the second one crazy taxi does not seem to have the same concept.why doesnt the cab drivers smell. thats weird.why does this game play with monkeys.luigi is in this game.a cheat i will give you is if you do not have a memory card in play to the last level and get all the stuff. then turn off your game and the game gets to extra levels from the upcoming sequel buffy the vampire slayer.why is shrek fat and he wheres the same clothes he must smell.why are his ears circular and not triangular.why is star spelled with a s instead of a q.im confused.now another cheat. press every button on the controler five times them ripout the game and break it in two then play frisby with your dog for two hours then put it back in and you will have all the levels.

This game is awsome when you play it for the first time. Then, after a couple of hours you are bored. THere are no objectives or any thing. It has no plot, it doen't even have much of a point. All you can do is pick people up in a taxi and take them some where. It's just another cruddy Allcliam game.
FUN FOR ABOUT AN HOUR HORRIBLE FOREVER AFTHER!!!!

I bought this two days ago and I already am sick of it i have done everything that there is to do in it. This game is ver fun the first time that you play it because its all new to you. Once your time runs out in the arcade made and you play that over threemore times you get sick of it you get the same custumers going to the same place almost everytime that you play. Afther a while the repetivenese get sicking tyou then go to crazy box mode and see if thats any fun, but you soon find out that that is even worse he hard challenges are too hard and the easy ones to easy. Then afther youve played these to horrible things youve played everything in the game. yopu try and try to give the game a chance but its just to bad i even got to class S licence the highest rating aand the time i got that was still boring getting a high licence doesnt do anything for you exept say game over this is what your score was. i dont know why it even uses memory all that does is put your name there ther isnt even a high score list PLEASE DONT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!IT'S A BIG WASTE OF MONEY BUY SOMETHING ELSE DONT THINK BECAUSE THIS GAME IS CHEAPER YOU SHOULD BUY IT THERE ARE CHEAP GAMES THAT ARE GOOD JUST NOT THIS ONE DONT GET ME WRONG. REMEMBER ALL I TOLD YOU ABOUT THIS GAME BEFORE YOU MAKE A PURCHASE.

This game is just a re-release of the crazy taxi for sega dreamcast. If u ask me just t pay $20 for the dreamcast version or get crazy taxi 2. Another get rich scheme for gamecube. They are just trying to make it look like gamecube has good teen games. This look like another N64. The only improvement is the graphics
