I am a fan of skateboarding and I am a fan of video games. I am a HUUUGE fan of skateboarding video games. Especially this one. This is definetely the best game in the world. The tricks and combos you can pull of are amazing. You will be addicted to the create a skatepark function choosing from four different themes or create a skater which will let your creative side show. It has great multiplayer games such as graffiti, tag, horse, and more! The graphics are SUH-WEET!and you can skate as one of 13 awesome pros. If you only buy one game in your entire life buy this one... trust me, I've played alot of [bad] games that look as awesome as this one. But this one is 100x as sweet as it looks. BUY IT.

How do I put this. If you own a Playstation, get this game. If you don't, buy a Playstation to be able to play this game. It is by far the greatest sports/skateboarding game. What makes it so special? Well, first there's the Create-a-Skater function. The endless outcomes from this are incredible. Then, build your own park in the Park Editor. There are so many pieces to choose from, and it's a blast testing it out (one complaint, the area to build in is kinda small). The levels are more interesting than the ones before (it snows in the hanger!) and some skaters are new. Graphic push the PS1 to it's limits, looking as good as the original for the Nintendo 64. I was really impressed by this game. Even better than the original.

I got this like 3 weeks ago and my other 4 games back in December. By far, this is my favorite.(but I still like the others) EveryThing has to be unlocked during career mode and you could buy stats for charesters.(I bought a lot for Tony Hawk, so he is the best in the game statiscally) Well , you have to buy this game!

This game is so cool!! It's my favorite game. I play it all the time. You can do awesome tricks like a darkslide or 540 flip It's a lot better than the 1st one, you can even make skaters and skate parks!! One of the best!!

This sequal blows the origanal away!

TH2 is simply put mind blowing. This has new levals, characters, tricks, and objectives. The new levals are awsome because they are so huge you can do anything and they are so detailed. The competitons are so fun and chanelenging and better because again a lot more room to work with. My favorite is the Mexican comp. because you get to ride through cow dung to search for money but watch out for the bull! The objectives make the game better because they are very chanlenging and there are so many of them. TH2 allows you to create your own skaters and your dream parks. Th2 also lets you deal with money. After you complete any objective you get money and you can use this towards attributs, tricks, and decks. There are many new characters in this game and once you beat the game with any character you get something hidden to make the game more exciting (not that it already isn't exciting). My favorite hidden cheat is Spider-Man, he can get the most points by his awsome websiling tricks. Speaking of tricks the new special in this game are awsome they are fun to pull off and you can rack up a ton of points by turning them into combos. You also can get a little film after you beat the game with a character which is sweet. This is a must by for any gamer and possibly the best playstation game ever!

Hey there,I am here to tell you my opinion on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. Since I have not played Tony Hawk Pro Skater,I very much so want to play the original. Anywhoo,here is my review...

I think this is the most addicting game of all time,I stay up til God knows how long just playing over and over. Trick after trick,tring to finish one level at a time and getting all the odjectives that ya can possibly can in a minute. I agree with EGM magazine,buy this game and buy it now... Very fun and the music is HOT and keeps ya pumped up... Tring to get a high score feels so wonderful and feels good inside that ya got the highest,getting a high score is like a challenge for you... The highest I got was 656543, I felt good when I got it... you will too if ya get higher them I did... GET IT NOW

The greatest game ever made for any game console would have to be THPS2. you don't have to even be a fan of skateboarding to enjoy this game. tons of things to do including building your own skatepark, having spiderman as a skateboarder, and even skating in "skate heaven". it also has some awesome songs to listen to while you skate. i hope THPS3 will be just as good, because i find it hard to believe any game can be better than this one

I was never much of a sports video game person, so I thought Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 looked like a bore. I mean, how much fun can a game about skating around be? At a slumber party at one of my friend's houses, I played this game on her Dreamcast, and I fell in love! It was pure, innovative fun. I got the game for Christmas and was addicted. It's impossible to get bored! You can create a character, use ready-made characters, and after beating the game with certain characters, you can unlock new characters. Learning to master the game is pure fun, and you end up trying to beat the game with every character to unlock the cool (and sometimes wacky) cheat codes. This game is pure fun, and I highly recommend it!

This game is the ultimate skateboarding game out there. There are sooooo many things to do in this game as 1 player as well as 2 players you can even build,test & save your own skate park.
I recomend this game to anyone you will enjoy it soooo much.

I made this one star because if your like me i dont read too many 5 start reviews because everyone has the same opinion, i tend to look at only the bad reviews, this isnt a bad review but keep reading. I am an ex skater, currently practicing architect. I bought the first version and thought TOny 1 was off the hook, i was a bit leery about the sequel because the developers usually [mess] it up. However, this game is far more better then Tony 1. If the soundtrack doesnt get you into the game i dont know what will, killer soundtrack. The skaters are impecable with more control for the user. I swear playing with Cab takes me back to the bones brigade days!Dude, what happened to Lance. The levels are phat and much bigger. Whoever says that this game [isn't good] should just throw away they're playstation. Hey guys get working on Tony 3, and bring back the other old school skaters.
