TONY HAWK 2 IS AWESOME!!!

THIS GAME IS AWESOME! I HAVE HAD IT FOR 3 OR 4 YEARS NOW AND I STILL PLAY IT ALONE AND WITH MY FRIENDS. IT HAS GOOD GRAPHICS, EXCELLENT GAMEPLAY, GOOD SOUND AND GREAT MULTIPLAYER. THEIR ARE ONLY A COUPLE FLAWS IN THIS GAME AND THEY ARE: IN THE FREE SKATE MODE IT DOESNT KEEP TRACK OF YOUR SCORE; THE GRAPHICS SOMTIMES MAKE IT LOOK UNREAL. THATS REALLY ALL THERE IS(THAT I'VE NOTICED) THAT MAKE THIS GAME GET A 4. P.S. DONT BUY POKEMON SNAP IT SUCKS BADLY IF YOU WANT TO READ MORE LOOK FOR MY REVIEW ON IT. HAPPY GAMING

This game is the best I never thought that it would be so good and with the new create a player option it is more intresing to play.The create a park option is the best you could put all kinds of ramps where ever you want.The three new players made the game funner.The game is 99.9% more enjoyable then the 1st one. Avtivision makes the best games!

I dug Hawk 1 big time, but this one seemed like more of the same. I found the wall rides to execute inconsistently especially on the school levels with the alarms. The editor is cool though.

AWESOME GAME, BUT...With skateboarding being such a "hot" sport of interest to many kids of different ages, I thought this game would have considered that fact. The first time my 8 year old son played the game, I was shocked to hear profanity. I'm aware that people curse and swear but my son doesn't have to begin liking this sport and think that cursing comes with the territory. If they wanted to be "true to life" why not include protective gear versus profanity? This is how such an exciting sport gets labeled and stereotyped. I would like for him to see that this sport is just plain FUN--not vulgar! I wanted him to know that cool doesn't mean you have to curse. I wanted him to know that it's a little dangerous, but there are ways to protect yourself. Sure the game doesn't hurt anybody, but how far do we go? How complacent are we as a society going to become? Until there is no such thing as morals and a conscience? How far does FREEDOM go? Leaving out the slang and profanity and including protective gear would not have taken anything away from the game. They just added another aspect to skateboarding that has nothing to do with the sport itself! We are a product of our society! Parents need help raising kids. Whatever they see, they are going to do or at least try.

This game is KILLER and i love it! It is 90% better than the last one. but the graphics are the same if not worse! I love the demo (especialy the create a park).

This is another must have for the playstation the graphics are the same as the last game maybe a little better you get three more characters a create a park and create a skater mode plus ten all new levels including skate street in venture california, the bull ring, new york, marsilles in france also there are 50%-75% more tricks in the game which makes it even better.

THPS2 is, in my opinion, has the best graphics,3D use, and funnest all-around game for PS ever made. It challenges the PS to give the best graphics and fastest playing speed without freezing up, and it doesn't freeze. I would recomend this game to ALL people who own a playstation! If i could give it 50 stars, I would! It still amazes me every time I play it, and for [the price], its the best game you could get today. Details?, All?...too many! But I'll give you some of that many that makes this game so fun. First of all, there are 20 different songs (new), 8 new skateparks, 13 pros plus you can create your own skaters, 5 more things to get in career mode, hundreds of new tricks, you can buy things like boards and stuff, lastly, one of the greatest things is that you can build and skate your own skatepark in any mode. Unlike alot of the games out there that have kids bored of the game after about a month or two, this one, just like THPS1, will never have you completely bored, you might have to lay-off it for an hour though.

Neversoft and Activision have come a long way in both THPSs, and have really left some of us wondering what could be better than THPS2.

All of my opinions may not get the message to you, so i suggest you try it ...

I am a dedicated Tony Hawk Pro Skater fan. The first game took me by surprise in that someone had actually succeeded in making a good skating game, and it was so good in fact that I became an instant addict. Then, when I heard all the hype about a sequel coming out, imagine what went through my head! People say that I have no life, but I think I do. Anyway, so I went out and bought this game. I then sat in front of my TV for 6 hours. The great thing about this game is that it has the same controls as the first, making it extremely easy to play. There are loads of new options: you can create your own skater, create your own skatepark, skate with the created skater on the created skate park, free skate in two player mode, and there is so much more to do in these levels then in the first... But one thing- if you hate to spend lots of time on something, or have problems committing to something, this game is not for you. Some advice to the buyer is to look at the various players' guides that are online(try ign.com- it is free!), you will get a much better sence of what the game has to offer than from reading a review. More advice- turn your playstation off when it gets hot, otherwise you might melt it. That would be bad.

I hate consoles, but I love this game.

Tony Hawk 2 is awesome. This is a wonderful way for the PS1 to finish it's run. I tend to be a PC Gamer, but I've had a lot of fun with this game. Our entire family has avidly played this game. It takes a while to get all the levels open, but the feeling of accomplishment is amazing.

if you dont give this game 5 stars, then there is something wrong with you. this game has so many options and so many more tricks than the first. I played the previous Tony Hawk like an addict right up until the sequel came out and i couldn't believe they could make a better game than the first, but they did. probably the only people that have an excuse not to like this game are teachers and parents because the kids grades drop and they don't do any homework...but hey, why not do something fun while being defiant? Bottom line is to buy this game because it is good lovin.
