This game is great! I began playing and I was hooked! This was the first game I got for the GBA and im glad it was. This game has an outstanding storyline, great graphics,and great music!
You start out as Issac. And the wo sorcerers(I forget their names) have stolen your two friends in search of these magical stones. And you have to go after them while getting mroe friends on your journey. If you like Final Fantasy then you will love this game. It is hours and hoursa of fun(It took me about 45 hours to beat). Buy this game! It's worth it!

This game was the best I have ever played for this platform. It's basically huge. I know that they are coming out with Golden Sun II so as to finish up the other two lighthouses that you didn't get to do in the first game. It has a whole new system of Djinni. What you do is you travel to different places, completing mini-quests while your main objective is to track down some thieves who stole the elemental stars. But the Djinni is only a small fraction of the game. Once again you see HP, but as for your special attacks, there is a system of psynergy. This allows you to hit more than one person at a time with a single attack. At the beginning of the game, there are only two characters:Isaac and Garet. Later in the game you get Ivan and Mia. At this point it gets pretty exciting because you get to attack 4 times every turn. There is so much more that I could say about this game, but there is a limit on the amount you can type. But if the picture hasn't come accross your mind yet, this is a great game!

One of my friends was talking about this game but I wasn't very interested, but then Christmas time roled around and I was getting pretty desparate on what to buy so I just picked this game up and threw it in the basket. Well, I'm sure glad I did! After I understood and got used to the game i almost played it non-stop. With almost endless things to do, this game almost took me a year to beat which is good. This game boasts great music AND sound. Difficulty is hard but not extremely hard which is good as well. The fighting system that you incounter is the traditional "you attack once then the enemy attacks you"...like pokemon only you don't have little creatures. This sounds a little boring but trust me it isn't. So stop just LOOKING at the box and buy it, it's WORTH IT!

This game is the best game you can buy. The graphics are superior to anything on the snes and it has better graphics than some playstation and nintendo 64 games. The screen play is clear, you always know where you are going and what to do. This game is life any of the Final Fantasy series. Its really fun to. The battle graphics are the best. If you are looking for somthing to play on that long trip to grandmas house this chismas, this is the game for you!

this is a good game no its a great game! i bought it in the summer time and i am still not close to beating it. this is my favorite game on gba.iwas playing it for hours.my parentssaid to give it a rest. it is kinda frustrating i am ten years old so idont recommend it for little kids.it has great graphics.each player gets their on set of djnni or you can trade it with other characters in your group you will learn about that after you buy it. the only thing i dont like about it is when everbody in your group dies and you are in the middle of a lighthouse you have to start all the way at the begining of the lighthouse.this is a must game to have! its awesome.it will keep you busy for months.my classmates love this game too. i recommed you get asap.the enimies are kinda hard.the best character is garet.

I've played a lot of GBA games and this is one of the best. It doesn't make you do anything at once you can skip around and do other things at different times. The only complaint I have is the ending, it doesn't quite complete itself like it should and just when you start to get into it. I love the charecters and all the things you can do. If you need a game get this you won't be dissapointed until the end unless you have no taste at all.

I personally think this game was ok while others may say it is the best game they ever played,but I prefer the Wild Arms series ,but they havent put it on Game Boy Advance yet ,though I am still waiting and hoping that there will be on it. I still gave this game a 5 because it kept me busy for a while

Golden Sun is THE BEST game in the world. I've played tons of RPGs and none can even compare to the challenge, andventure, and storyline of Golden Sun. Adventures are everywhere in this game, being uncovered one after another, keeping you hooked to this game. This game lives up to any expectation you could ever imagine possible. Plenty of new tasks to do in every city you come to, which there are a ton of cities. When you might just think your finished with the game, another adventure will soon come to life. No game could ever replace Golden Sun in the RPG category. This game is worth every penny and deserves every single star it gets on the ratings. Five stars isnt even good enough for this game, Golden Sun deserves a million.

I love this game! You play as "Isaac," unless you rename him in the begining. Your name has to be no longer than "Isaac" because, as always, it has those weird little lines you write your name on. During play and battle you use "psynergy," a magic like thing that helps you in battle and problem solving type puzzles. Overall this game has over 24 hours of gameplay and is challenging but rather easy. ...

(This is my son talking) THIS IS THE BEST TURN-BASED RPG EVER!! I don't get why it's getting any bad hype at all. If you don't like all this elemental stuff, you didn't read the box; the graphics are amazing at some points; the plot is awesome; there are plenty of sidequests to go on, i.e Crossbone Isle; and the battle system is amazing. There is only one thing I have to complain about - the automatic defense. Seriously, people, if you were planning to attack someone, and someone else killed em, you seriously wouldn't just defend. But it is still awesome.
