Golden sun is one of the best games that I have played in my entire life. The gameplay is awesome, the characters are great, and the story is unforgettable. Ther are so many parts to the story that forms this masterpiece. Sving villages from a terrible curse, fighting in the arena as a gladiator, and sailing across a sea full of monsters. I just can't get enough. I have beaten the game more times than I can count, but I still love it more than anyhting to start the quest over again. After I'm done writing this review, I'm gonna go start it over again. I can't wait until the second game has come out in America! If you have a gameboy advance, and you havn't played golden sun, than BUY IT NOW!!!

One word describes Golden Sun, wow. This was the first gameboy advance game that I ever bought and it surprised me on how good of graphics the GBA really has. The graphics almost look 3-D as the camera appears to move back and forth during the gameplay and the spell effects are awesome. In the game, there are things called Djinn which are like little elemental things that grant characters magical power; the more you get, the better magic and the better summons you can use. You can also mix and match the 4 types of djinn to create new character classes. The number of classes is very high so the game never gets boring. The music is also awesome. This music rivals some scores by even Nobou Umaetsu, creator of almost all Final Fantasy games. The character development was nice. You got a feel for how the characters think and what their emotions are throughout the game. Control is also very good in the game. The controls are easy to figure out and help is given about what things do. Last but not least, the gameplay. This game is so long that it outlasts many psone games. I checked my total time after I beat it and I was over 40 hours! This game will not let you down and with a sequel coming to the US this April, you'd better get this game now so you know what's going on in the 2nd one! This game is by far the best RPG on the GBA yet!

PROS:
*Stunning graphics and battle animations
*Great Story
*Long game
*4 Characters in your party
CONS:
*Radom Monster battles are frequent and annoying
*Newer monsters are the same graphics as their easier version, but their colors are changed
*Monsters are lame (rats, rat warriors)
OTHERS:
*Battle System: Turnbase. Characters are right in front of the camera, monsters are ahead. When characters attack, the camera changes to a side-veiw.
*Game does not end, a sequal will be coming out that continues the game.
Golden fun!

I got hooked on this game as soon as I started, I mean the incredible music, the grrrrrrreeeeeattt! graphics, the great gameplay and enough enemies and psynergies to keep it in the gameboy advance for a while. You won't want you want to get it out of the GBA until you beat it. which is the problem, it's short!

First, off, I want to start by saying THIS IS THE GREATEST HANDHELD GAME OF ALL TIME AND I'M NOT JOKING. Now that thats over with, I'll tell you why.
Graphics- one word. WOW!! The graphics are incredibly detailed and jaw-dropping. They bring the magic (psynergy) system alive amazingly.
Story/characters- this game actually has a GREAT storyline, and even better characters. Maby people don't realize this the first time through (like me). Once I beat the game, I started a new one and just enjoyed the plot.
Sound/music- the sound is good, nothing special, but GET SOME HEADPHONES to listen to thee music! The music is incredible!
hardness- It only took me 20 hours to beat, but I was interested the whole way through (and thats saying something!)
to finish this long and boring review, i'd just like to say BUY THIS NOW! that is all.

Golden Sun, for the GBA, is, in my opinion, one of the premier RPGs of its time, and sets the bar for future role-playing games. Its mixture of fighting and traveling makes it likeable to even the pickiest of players. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Great RPG, worth looking at!

This game is flawless. Great graphics, great gameplay, and a great storyline. The battle system is the strong point. You'll be more enthusiastic about getting through the level just to get to the next exciting battle! I think any RPG veteran or newbie alike, should deffinaltlaly take a look at this game. I give it a well deserved 5 out of 5!

You start of a the small village of Vale and from there it turns into an adventure. You are following two villians to the end of the world to stop they from lighting the lighthouses with the Elemental Stars. (If all are lit the world will "Die") With the help of Garet, Ivan and Mia (You can name them by pressing seclect three times when you are naming yourself)you will together beat them. But is there more to this situation than meets the eye. Felix your childhood friend (On bad side in this game)insists that he must light the last two lighthouses. What could be going on? Tune into Golden Sun The lost age for the wrap up of both games!!!!
Golden Sun is what I live for.
