this game is the coolest of all. the first chapters are like an introduction but the chapters from 28 to the final are the a$$$$ of the game . if you lose a character do the reset trick : hold L and R buttons then press A and B at the same time. if you enter an arena and you will fight and oponent who is more powerful than you use the reset trick so you dont lose , if you will fight someone in the arena with a silver weapon ex :silver sword , silver axe , silver lance etc. dont fight him you will lose if it is a myrmidon.bye

This game is the best for the Gameboy Advance/SP system. I got this game about four days ago and I couldn't put it down. When I first got it I played it for 10 hours. Out of all the characters hector is the best, he carries the axe. Some chapters are really hard, but right now I'm on the final chapter and it's hard. There's 31 chapters. I was battling with Nergal but I lost. The most thing I really hate about this game is losing and when enemies pop out of nowhere. I really want to get to the Hector mode.I hope I could beat this game soon! I recommend you buy the game. I hope there's going to be another Fire Emblem game. I would rate this game a perfect 10!
Horrid, just horrid

Although the tactics to this game are highly advanced, the story takes up to much of your time. It seems that you read more then you actually get to play. Also, their is no exploring outside of the story line, which means no other battles, so you have to rely on just the story mode alone to level up. The battle graphics are fun, though. The tactics are extreme, and not for the light at heart. A definite waste of $30.

the game is good as long as you can grasp a good understanding of what the concept is and if you use all of your soldiers in some way. only problem is that there's too much talking. and annoying how they have to tell you everytime the weather changes...and when it's alright again.
This game is awesome!!!!!

Before Fire Emblem's release last year, I had almost no interest in any type of RPG's at all, and when I picked it up about a month ago, I couldn't believe the storyline's crispness and intrigue. I had never really been vexed by a game's storyline and the characters (other than Halo), and my interest in RPG's has been found. When Fable comes out for XBOX in March, I might have to buy it and the XBOX to go with it. Until then, I'll enjoy Fire Emblem and its mysteries, and I encourage you to do the same. Anyone can play it without much trouble- that's what makes it such a great game-its gameplay will satisfy gamers and newcomers alike from several types of gaming genres, including turn-based and real-time strategy, and RPG's. Fire Emblem has a little something for everyone-I'm glad I discovered it, as Fire Emblem is the only game I own for any system... and I have not been disappointed. Bottom Line.... I give this game 5 stars for outstanding gameplay and storyline. Great games really do come out on 32 Bit systems. Wow...
the best game of my short career

i haven't played too many games so far, but i am completely addicted to Fire Emblem. Mostly, i don't play games because i'm no good at them. the first thing i noticed about Fire Emblem is, IT'S EASY! well, easy to learn, hard to master. you play the tactician of a group of fighters, meaning you get to control them in battle without actually fighting. sure, the sound is great, the graphics are great, but the things that really dragged me into this game are the amazing characters and plotlines. Starting with the tutorial (Lyn, normal mode) i met the Lady Lyndis first, and got to know her best. Through her, i met Kent, Sain, Florina, Serra, Eliwod, and a whole host of other amazing personalities. Each character is unique and individual. Serra is annoying and outgoing, Kent is calm and reliable, Sain is a terrible flirt. And since you control them (and they tell you roughly 5 million times how much they trust you) you feel absolutely terrible if you let any of them die. if you're really into fast action, don't get this game. you won't like it. but if you're a beginner, and/or into deep plotlines and characters, get this game. you won't be disapointed
Reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic

This game is overrated. It is WAY too short, I mean, what's with the one battle per chapter? And once one of your men die, they never come back. NEVER! If You want a good and addictive stratagy/RPG play Heroes OMAM on the PC.
A good game

There's something about Strategy games that I like. I'm not sure what it is, but I like it. This game is great, I have to think, look at my units and make sure they're up to the task at hand, and if they're not how to keep them alive to the end of the mission. If you're a perfectionist like me then this game will get frusterating at points. I've not beat it yet, but I'm close (within 3-4 chapters).
Despite this game's cartoony look it's not really a kid's game. Granted there's no content to make it unacceptable for kids, but it's definately too hard for your average 8 or 9 year old.
All that being said this is a good game, solid strategy, solid unit selection and variety, solid game play, solid story.

Made by Intellegent Systems Who made Advance Wars. The series started in Japan in 1990 and became pretty popular. This game is the first in the series Storywise. The story is excellent and can change if you decide to play it over. The choices you make in the game will decide many factors including characters you get later in the game and even the ending. This is a stratagy/RPG game so if you only have half a brain, dont play it. The game is hard and frustrating, yet addictive and fun. If you like fantisy games you will love this. The music is well composed. The graphics are good but not excellent. And the story is one of the best ones. I would like to see the originals translated into english for a future release or as a download for the Nintendo Revolution.
