An all around decent game.

Fire embelm had a huge hype around it from both that weird TV comercial, and a good friend who talked me in to buying it. I put down Final fantasy Advance, and pooped it in. the first thing i noticed, there is ALOT OF TALKING THAT REALLY DOESN'T ADD ANYHTING TO THE GAMEPLAY. The graphics are probably some of the worst ive ever seen in gameboy advance, higher only than that of the yu gi oh games i used to play. The only good graphics I have seen in this game are during the second long blips of fight scene when one unit attacks another. Barring the excess amount of talking, and the crap graphics, there are really weird rules that make attacking an enemy, or changing the class of your units escpecially confusing.
The only reason I gave it three stars, is because the gameplay is SO challenging. You are fighting units ususally as skilled as your own, Units can miss attacks, and there are alot of cool abilities. On top of that, When a unit of yours dies, say goodbye, because he/she is gone FOREVER, so several times i have had to restart a battle (actually hundreds more like it), because they have swarmed my paladin with a million archers...
All in all, if you are looking for a hard game, but graphics dont matter too much to you, I'd Definatley reccomend this game

Wow, I can't put this game down and it's been awhile since I found a game so addictive. It's a must buy!

Yah, 3 days. I got this game three days ago. Ok, I got this Saturday at the Long Beach Game X Change. There's two that me and my dad go to. The Long Beach one and the Orange Grove. But being able to do that is not as cool as this game!! I was looking for 4 games! Megaman and Bass, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars 2, and...CRAP!!! I can't remember what the ohter game was(usually I forget things that aren't important!)! Oh, heres an example on how good this game is! I was trying to remember what the other game was but pictures from Fire Emblem kept appearing instead!! But anyway, this game is so good! So far, I'm near the end of Eliwood's story and it's awesome so far!! This game has good graphics, cool characters and weapons, and everything else!! You want more convincing? I'll tell you my main team(their gonna be the ones with equipment and I won't say weapons!): Lord Eliwood LV.10, Lord Lyn LV.13, Cavalier Lowen LV.9, Fighter Bartre LV.8, General Oswin LV.1(if anybody has a low level, it's probably because I gave them a promotional item), Warrior Dorcas LV.1, Troubadour Pricilla LV.6, Archer Wil LV.7, Paladin Marcus LV.5, Shaman Canas LV.8, and Thief Matthew LV.7. Theres more different kinds of people to use which makes you want to get it more, right? Probably the only thing I don't like is the absense of cheats. So if you can't stop cheating and you want this game, you better stop!! Good luck if you BUY IT! BUY IT!!!!

Like the title says, this game is very entertaining.It has easy controls with different gameplay.You find yourself saying ,Ill do just one more chapter, but you want to keep playing.IF you like RPG'S,This is A good one with tactics you must also use.A last detail is you put in your birthdate,name and time.This is A good , All around game.I would highly suggest this game.

this was a incredable one of the best games ive ever played and it was a gameboy game ive never givin a gameboy game 2 stars or less i bought this game twice cause i lost my first copy for 2weeks it is a defenite must buy

This game iz awesum! It is SO much fun! I've spent MANY hours playing this game! It does get pretty hard. Its kinda like chess. And like in chess, wenever u lose 1 of your people in battle, theyre GONE! (well, 4 some u can see L8R and ask 2 come bak, but lets not get there;)And to let ya know, Marth and ROY (from Super Smash Bros. Melee 4 the gamecube)are NOT in this game!I think that they are descendants of Eliwood(Roy look-alike) and Hector(Marth look-alike only w/ a cool 2 sided axe!) this game requires you, like in chess, to make sure that your troops wont die in battle by making a careless mistake. Trust me, if u like ANY RPG on the GBA you will be hooked on this game 4 dayz!

This is the best game i have played in my whole life, and i know video games. Out of the four rpg titles(MArio and luigi Superstar saga, Sword of Mana, Final Fantasy tactics advance, and fire emblem) nintendo promisd to bring "heart to the gba" this is definitly the best. THis game is very similar to adavance wars 1 and 2, but better, oh so much better. In this game you are the tactician, and in the first 11 chapters you are Lyndis, a girl of the plains who wants to find her grandfather. You eventually find out this is the demi, and the real game starts with eliwood and hectoreliwood is roy from super smash brothers father. This beats all the great rpgs by far, golden suns, pokemon, advance wars, baldurs gate. Buy this game!
