Since Rainbow Six won't be multi-player you shouldn't even worry about framerates in online games. The game is fun alone because when in your life do you get to command a S.W.A.T. team on covert missions. The graphics are AWESOME and realistic. When you shoot an enemy in the leg he hobbles around and screams but doesn't die. If you liked Goldeneye on 64, you will love this game because you're not alone on those missions. The computer controlled teammates actually help and could probably finish the mission without you, but why would do that when you have all those cool guns and explosives to use on the bad guys. If you like tactical games or shooters, I promise you won't be dissapointed!
This one tops the action and strategy

This is game is great. It has great missions it has a high frame rate and is very suspense full. The missions take place all over the world and its much more relistic then other shooting games. the only set back in this game is the bloodyness, which can be turned off. This is a great buy and is well worth the pennies. It never gets old.
A must-buy!

This is the most realistic fighting game I have ever played, bar none. If you even remotely enjoyed GoldenEye for the N64, you MUST buy this game. The graphics, evironment, enemy and ally AI, and storyline are top-of-the-line. This game is also worth every dollar when it comes to replay value. With the planning phase, you can create seemingly endless ideas and strategies for accomplishing different missions. I NEVER EVER get tired of Rainbow 6 titles. If violence is an issue for you, don't worry--the blood can be turned off. So stop reading this and go buy, buy, BUY this game!

Rainbow Six is one amazing game. You just what the U.S. Army is doing right now in Afghanistan. You are with an anti-terrorist group which tries to stop terrorists from bombing buildings and other terrorist acts.
You and your group do drills to train for your missions. The only bad part is the missions and choosing all of your stuff takes a long time....A VERY LONG TIME.....
After you have all of your weapons and materials you go on over 21 different missions. You kill terrorists and try to save hostages by getting past the terrorists guarding them who will shoot you right when they see you which causes a problem. It is nearly impossible to save the hostages.
On your missions you also go to certian areas and get ready to make your attack on the enemies. Then its time to attack with your sweet guns. This game is a great shooting simulator that will attract many people who enjoy hunting or shooting with guns.
This game is almost too realistic which isn't all that bad, but bad when it comes to you getting killed all the time when you go on certain missions.
If you are looking for some fun with your Dreamcast...this is the game to get.

Rainbow Six is the best game the Dreamcast has to offer. The graphics are great and so is the music. The game actually makes you feel like you are a member of special OPS, Mission planing, sneak actacks, raidsand hostage resuces. R6 also gives you a very big challenge, offering two different levels of diffuculty: Recuit and Vetren. If you like shooting games, stragety, or fast pace games, this is the game for you. You'll need to invest lots of time in it to actually beat the game, it took my a couple of months and it's very hard. Not for begginers!
Great Interactive Game

Rainbow 6 has it all. This is for any level of players. It features 27 training missions; 16 unique missions, plus eagle watch missions and speacial forces action. Rainbow 6 is very similar to the Half-Life game. It pumps you up and makes your heart beats faster as if you are the player itself. If you failed one mission and have to repeat again, the enemies are not where you think you were last kill. It shifts around and there are no two same missions alike. If you are into first player action type game, you have got to pick this up. You will be playing this everyday for at least a month.
Best game out right now for Dreamcast

Finally this game has been released. I had not played Rainbow Six for any other platform but had heard it was an awesome game and even better than GoldenEye for N64. So I rented it for 64 and loved every bit of it. I can say the same for the Dreamcast version, with the graphics being the main difference between the two. I just finished the game and next to Metal Gear Solid for Playstation it is the best game I've ever played. The environments that you're put in are realistic where there isn't 30 terrorists in one small spot. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of enemies but they are much smarter and more dangerous because you might be peeking around a corner like on other games and all of the sudden you hear a shot and you're dead because one shot can kill. That sort of realism is what makes Rainbow Six such a great game. The planning phase can be fun too because you must strategize and tell you're guys where to go and give go-codes and give the teams assignments. Overall, this is easily the best and most fun Dreamcast game out right now. I definitely recommend it.

Rainbow Six is a great port of the PC game. The graphics aren't the best, but everything else makes up for it. The sound is wonderful. I haven't finished the game yet but so far it has been challenging and fun. Buy it!

This is the version from the PC game and not from the Nintendo 64 version. For example, when you plan your mission it's a little bit more complicated from the N64 version. You have to go through each step of the planning phase insatead of diving right into the mission. Overall it's a pretty good game.
Alpha team, GO!

This game is really unique. The graphics are decent enough, and the environments are very well done. The multi-player mission idea is really cool, and on the DC, it comes to life nicely.
You can certainly cruise through this game focusing on one player with each board and get pretty far. But what makes it so cool is planning your missions, then watching your comrades execute them before your eyes.
This probably isn't the kind of game that you're going to be good at the first time. However, it won't be too long before your comfortable cruising along with the night vision kickin'-- whackin' terrorists left and right.
I highly recommend this game for the DC!
