This is a great game it has great tracks and great cars and it is very fun it is well worth the big price. This game keeps me hooked for weeks. I think it is good that this game is a little hard because you do not beat it in 3 days or something so if you want a great game get this.

Great Physics

F-Zero is my second game purchase for GBA.

While the graphics aren't ground breaking (as opposed to Tony Hawk 2), they are still very nice.

What really impresses me about this game are:

1. Incredibly smooth & fast scrolling graphics. 2. Realistic physics - this game has physics comparable to Wipeout (for N64).

I have given this game 4 Stars (although it probably deserves four and a half).

I intend buying Mario Kart also. But, for those who want to buy only one racing game, it may be worth waiting for Mario Kart's release to see which is the better of the games.

F-Zero is definitely a lot of fun and is extremely addictive!

very fun but...................for me easy to beat

f-zero is a game that is really fun and i think you should buy it beacause of the great graphics and some of the options like choosing your controls and exchanging high scores via link cable. But I beat i rather quick but i still play it over agian on 1 player and multi player. And another good thing is you can play against each other and only one person needs a game!!! Pretty neat , so i think that it is a good game to buy

This game really rocks! It has awesome tracks and there are 6 extra cars you have to get! Except... After I got the game, I completed it in like, 13 days. When I got the last car, it gets sort of boring. Even if you did start over, it would still need something good. Like multiplayer games, whipping their butts is really fun to do, get me? I know, I got tons of games, after a while, boring without others. But have fun while it lasts. There something good about it. For Jet Vermillion, beat the championship course 255 times without quitting a mid race. Or find the Japanese website and find the code. If you do find the code, go into Grand Prix, go into select machines, do L,R,Start,R,L,Select, it is a code screen. Type in the code, enter, and Jet Vermillion is yours! Except, it is for cheaters. All in all, it is really cool (somewhat). Oh, there speeds go at from 400-700 Km/H, not MPH.

cool game

This is the best game I have ever played. It also has real great graphics.

Good game, but maybe not for a portable platform

This is a good game, but let me put it in the perspective of the platform it is designed for -- portable handhelds.... P>Anyway, in light of my playing time, I'd have to say that F-Zero is not well designed for short bursts of play. In order to complete an entire level, you need to finish all 5 tracks which takes about 2-3 minutes each.

However, I do not want this fact to diminish the visual and gameplay quality of the game. The frame rates are super smooth, and while the controls need getting used to (more exactly the placement of your hands on the small GBA), the controls do excellent justice to the different types of cars and their individual characteristics. The songs and sound effects are at par, but I suggest listening to some techno beats while playing.

If you use your GBA for long periods of time (under a bright light I might add)... this is a fine racing game. However, I'd take a gander at GT Advance if you're looking to get into the racing genre.

F-Zero

F-zero is a racing game that takes place in outer space. What you do first is enter your name and that is the start of your career as the driver for a hovercraft that you will race. You can pick the grand prix mode, where you pick a car and try to complete the pawn knight or bishop tracks on different diffuculties, begginer, standard, or expert. If you want to shape up your driving capabilities you can train by yourself or race against one computer. In the grand prix you race against a dozen or so computers. If you beat all the levels you then unlock the last couple of levels on that stage, pawn, knight and bishop. The sound is ok. On top of this, if your friends have GBA you could race each other using only one(1)gampak. Another neat thing about the game is that you play to unlock levels for sure, but you also play to unlock numerous hovercrafts. The graphics on this game could've been better done but I think if you want a fast, exciting, and just plain fun racing game that would rarely get boring, F-zero is the best game out yet in that category on GBA.

Fast, extremely fast!!!

I got this game on the day of the GBA launch and this game is truly a Nintendo classic. The graphics are really nice and the sound fits in with the game perfectly. If you put on a set of headphones, you can actually hear the other racers pulling up alongside your hovercraft. The sense of speed in this game is quite a rush. It's really fun and challenging to try and steer a hovercraft around tricky and sharp corners while you're whizzing by at speeds of 400-500 mph. The game is pure fun. You can also link up with some friends with GBAs and play them in a round of F-Zero. This game lives up to the hype.

Pretty Good

This is the best game when you first get it. But after u beet it all the way up to Master Class it gets really hard and kinda boring. It's the best racing game of all the opening GameBoy Advance games. Probobly not as good as the Super Nintendo version but great for GameBoy Advance.

A great racing game

If you are a racing fan, this is a must have. You need to be alert and ready for difficult turns. It is a little frusterating, being that the first tracks can stll be a little difficult. It is the type of game where you get sooo far, and one little mess up messes the whole thing up. You know, those games where you want to throw your controller across the room because you are so mad? This is one of them. The only problem is that your controller is the system itself. So if you love racing and have a good temper, you will love it. If not, well, wrap your GBA in some bubble wrap before hand!
