If you're thinking of getting a high-speed, galactic racing game, well here it is! Its graphics are so amazing, it made me feel like I was actually there. Plus, it has a lot of challenging corses and difficulties. Trust me this is the game to get.

Alright

This game is not that bad but it is kind of hard. It takes a while to get used to the controls.

Super Fun!

When I first bought this game I thought the turning and control was rather hard. Until I learned to hit "A" repeatedly to help the turning. Just played the first race tournament and its like the same with the Super NES. This game rocks for sound, graphics, and challenging. I would highly recommend this to any racing fan!

This game is alright. There are many cars and tracks but they are very difficult to get. Here is what I rate everything

Sound 4.5 (out of 5) the sound is cool but the music is kinda annoying

Graphics 5.0 graphics are great even compared to other games on GBA

Fun Factor 5.0 this game is fun even though its very frustrating

controls 4.5 Controls are good but they take awhile to get the hang of but once you do get them down you will be amazed at yourself.

There really isn't much else to say about this game.

This game is a lot of fun. The racing is intense and really fast.
If you really want the Jet Vermilion (don't worry, its not as good as people say it is), this is an easy way to get it. Go to the Nintendo Of Japan website. Next type in your name using the on-screen keys and click Confirm. There will be a code on the screen. Now, turn on your F-Zero game and go to machine selection on Grand Prix mode and press L,R,Start,R,L,Select. A password screen will come on and now type in the code you got on the website. The Jet Vermilion is now useable.

This is by far the best racing game I hav ever played. It appears very 3D to the eye and feels like it when you play. I say that it isnt 3D because the Gameboy Advance can not handle 3D graphics, but if I didn't know better I'd say it was 3D. As I was just explaining the game has very realistic graphics. It also has high quality sound and special effects. The way the game is played is also realistic. In many racing games you hit a wall or another player and just keep on driving as normal, but in F-0 Maximum Velocity you take on damage whenever you hit a wall or someone else. So if you get hit too many times without taking a pit stop you vehicle will explode. OVER ALL ITS A VERY REALISTIC GAME HIGHLY RECOMENDED TOO ANYONE! RACING GAME LOVER OR NOT! AN
AA+++++++ GAME!!!!!!!!!

This game is very cool

The gameplay on this game is one of the best. It is very fun and there is almost unlimmited replay value because there are many ships to unlock. With some of the ships it is hard to turn while with the others it is almost impossible to turn without banging into the wall. The graphics of the track could use a little work, but the ships have very good graphics. This game is very challenging in the beginning but you should get used to the difficult controls if you work at it. I would recommend that you buy this game, but the price is a little high for the value. I would buy it used.

It's worth every penny

I recently got a GBA and the "f-zero maximum velocity" game to go with it. it's got GREAT graphics and the controls aren't bad although it would be nice if you could really costumize your controls instead of having to pick from the five combonations they give you. It's hard to win your first few times playing on any given track but once you get the controls down and have raced that course some you shouldn't have much trouble. a few of the things I like about it is that when you first start out you can pick the bigginner level so you're able to handle it and you can keep making it tougher and tougher the better you get until it's almost impossible to win. another thing is you can unlock 6 other machines besides the original 4 and you can unlock new tracks too. it's not for the gamer that just wants to beat the whole game in a day but if you're up for a challenge and like racing games even just a little then this game's for you!

P.S. I almost forgot you can race up to 3 friends on up to three other systems and only 1 count 'em 1! game cartridge!!!

One of the best games on the GBA

Normally I dont like racing games but the F Zero games are different.Theyre everything a great racing game should be challenging, fast and fun.F Zero Maximum Velocity is a good example of this. There are 20 levels,4 skill levels and 10 cars. All of the cars are unique and while the gameplay and graphics are similar to the original F Zero it is not a rehash. For one thing the courses are different, you get different vehicles and the speed is faster. The graphics are amazing for a 32 bit racer in my opinion and the gameplay is very satisfying. It isnt as good as F Zero for the Super Nintendo or F Zero X from the N64 but I wasnt really expecting it to be.While I would have been happier if they just released the original F Zero onto the Game Boy Advance, Maximum Velocity really isnt a disappointment at all. Some people go on and say how the controls are ridiculous but trust me the more you play it the more youll find how easier they are to use.I think its a great game and one of the best games on the GBA.

A must get GREAT game!

F-Zero is a superb game. There are 4 different starting vehicles, each a different style with different stats and pilots. You can later unlock 6 more vehicles. Then there are the races. 4 cups when you unlock queen and 4 difficulty levels; beginner, advanced, expert, and master when you unlock it. There are 5 levels which you have to get at least third in to keep going. But if you finish that lap (there are 5 laps in total) in a worse position than it shows near the place it shows your place you lose. You have 4 spare machines so thats how many times you can restart. If u get at least third in each of them you win that cup. You can unlock a lot of things by winning races. So you have 1000 different choices of things to do. ... The levels are action packed with simulated computer racers. you have health, speed, place, and place you need. There are bombs, boosts, slow dowm areas, jumps, and healing spots. So you can do practically anything in this game. It is a huge challenge and not just an afternoon game. you will need a lot of comitment because this game is no walk in the part. I am still going and i have had it 2 years! So if racing is your passion this game is good for you. good luck.
