This is nothing but the best Doom I have played. It is even better that it is hand-held, bring it any were. I love the graphics, the multiplayer mode is the best, the sound is real, and the levels are amazing!!! This the best rendition of Doom Ive ever played!!!

Of course i havn't played Doom for GBA, but i have played it for computer. The game is awsome. I have checked out the official Doom GBA website and it appears to have no major changes to the game other than its on GBA. I really think that the 2 player co-op and 4 player deathmatch will be sweet. I am definately buying this game when it hits stores.

I just got Doom and I turned the game on with high expectations only to be horrified with a dark game with slower than usual animation. Later, I figured out that if you go to options and put on Static Lightning and change the brightness, and put on autorun it plays as a fast shooter that is very fun.

EXTREMELY CHOPPY...... its an ok game, but its exactly like the computer version. the multi link is the only uprise in the game, so all you Goldeneye and Perfect Dark lovers, buy it. it even has co-op (note: in multi, its even more choppy)
Doom finally makes a return!!!

I haven't played the game on Gameboy Advance yet, but I have played it on my computer.
I remember back a few years ago, that this was my favorite game, and I used to play i for hours.
Some say that Doom,t gave birth to first person shooters, it most certainly did.
With awesome graphics, and an excellent gameplay which will strike much fear into your hearts, (especially when alone in a room), this game is made for nothing else but have fun.
If you are an avid first person shooter fan, then you should definitly get this game.
This game features all the classic gameplay and fun from the original game, all packed into a cartrige, for awesome 3D action on the go.
The game also features a 4- player arena mode which should be really cool.
So if you ask me, you should definitly add this game to your GBA library, for hours of fun.
Also all those who cannot wait for Doom 3, should get this game!!!

Doom is the seventh best FPS for the GBA and the second released for the system. Doom was first released for the PC back in 1993. The game was awesome. Eight years later the game is now portable. And yes, it is still awesome. Everything from the original is here except for some minor elements that don't detract from anything. Doom is back, back with a vengeance!

Activison brings ID Software's classic FPS to the GBA, complete with all the frentic pace and carnage of a game that blistered thumbs, fried brains, and outraged parents back in 1993. Twenty-four of the original 29 labrinthine levels are back, complete with indoor and outdoor environments, sprawling staircases, satanic pentagrams, and secrect doors have been beautifully translated. The wall and floor textures are impressive, but tenebrous tones in some levels make it hard to see where you are going on the tiny GBA screen. Switching weapons with the shoulder buttons take some time to get used to, but the control scheme is like a virgin: nice and tight. Some players may find the games non-stop action a little repetitive, but gamers looking for a healthy dose of brutal nostalgia can do no better.

I got Doom 2 for Christmas, and it is very very cool! It is the first FPS for a Gameboy seystem i've ever played. You get to fight demons and formor humans. You get shotguns, plasma rifles, a chainsaw, rocket louncher, and lots more weapons! The deamons took over the only spaceport, and you have to open a force field so you and the other servivers can get into space away from the ruined planet.
