This game has a great multiplayer, and a great oneplayer story line but this game is amazingly hard. it is easy at first but then it gets really hard i am stuck on mission 6 of the regular game. so if you are looking for a easy war game to beat this isn't it. but if you want a challange compleeting a game i sugest you invest in a GBA if you dont have it or invest in this game because it is great.

For the person who enjoys battle strategy and has wits this is a good game. It is not your classic video game but if you like strategy games you will love this. It also has a very good soundtrack.

I got this game last week and I have barely been able to put it down since! It is an incredible game. I picked it up and played through the tutorial, which teaches you everything you need to know to be successful at the game. Advance Wars is strategically difficult, but simple enough for younger gamers to play. If you are a parent, and you don't mind not seeing your kid for hours at a time, get them Advance Wars and a super-sized pack of AA batteries!!!!

Awesome game

I have played this game and it is very fun. You can build up your own maps and it's a game that will make you play a lot more. You earn money for defeating opponents. With the money you can buy maps and more. This game is for people who like RPGs and action games.

Excellent. Addictive. Bomb-tastic.

If you're a fan of military theory or strategy games of any sort, or you just value a great challenge with lots of fun bits thrown in, check out Advance Wars immediately. Easy to see, even on the GBA screen in low light, this is just an amazing game from start to finish.

...and once you beat the regular Campaign and feel like a tough guy, you realize that Advanced Campaign is insane crazy hard.

Medium Tanks conquer all.

Great gameplay, Easy controls, Moderate Graphics

Advance Wars is a good game with a great gameplay, with controls that are fairly easy to learn. The graphics are not the best I have played with before but they are acceptable for the game being 2-D. This game is an exellenct for a car ride or just laying on your couch because of the constant addiction that this game gives. One only disappointment that I had with the game, it tends to be fairly dark. I would reccomend this game %100 to anyone.

wars is a blast!

Risk meets Dark Tower

Wow, this is a really compelling turn-based strategy game sure to make even a cross country flight pass in no time. All the traditional elements of a Risk-like world conquest game + a level editor, great multiplayer capabilities and neat little "Dark Tower" animations to show the units squaring off (ahh, fond memories of "two brigands, four warriors").

The Best GBA game to date

I recently Bought advance Wars from a local game and store and all I have to say is - This Game Is Excellent! the whole game has as feeling of being very well designed and the strategy can compare with titles on playstation(i mean it can be pretty hard) the ability to link up makes it even more fun! I also loved the manga style characters, they're smooth and clear also each of the four army's units differ slightly in look. I would recommend this game for any strategy fan nd those who havent tried, give this a try!

Stunning...

Advance Wars has got to be the best game on the GBA to date. With over 120 maps, and the ability to create your own, their is an infinite replay value. Most missions are quite lengthy, so if you have parents who restrict GBA time, fear not, as there is a mid-mission save game option. You start off with 15 progressively harder training missions, and once you have completed them, you are givin control of Andy, your first CO (Commanding Officer). Amazing.
