At first, I was a bit irratated with the happy anime look of advance wars, but after I saw past that, the gameplay was absolutly excellant. The campaign mode is a little tiresome, but the game really shines in its Vs. Mode. You can play againts up to FOUR people or computers. And unlike many modern strategy games, this one actually has STRATEGY to it. As ill-intelligent and biased as this review may sound, play the game, I enjoyed it. Unfourtunatly tho, it does get a little boring a little quickly, but what can you do?

This is a wonderful game. The graphics are great and the gameplay is amazing. There are many diffent paths you can take, with many diffrent people. A great storyline too. This is a very good game, and a good stratagy game. There are many diffrent modes of play, including War Room, where you can fight picking you're own person and fighting on diffrent maps. Also campagain, the main part of the game with a great story line. Overall a great game.

If you are an itelligent person who knows stradegys. This is a good game. You can design a map, see your record, complete missions get coins then buy maps. There are over 100 battlefields. You can train in field training and get VERY good. When you beat campaingn you get advance campaingn, but the last mission I can never beat. The people you can have in campaingn are andy, Max, and samy. Also when you beat campaingn you can buy the people you battled. Now I'm not lying, but this is one of the best games I've ever played.

One of the best strategy games on the gameboy advance. Dont let the boxart fool you! This game gets very hard. I have figured out that people who like gamees that you run,jump,shoot,die and kill dont really like this game. BUY IT NOW!

Next to Golden Sun this was award-winning game.It had in-depth storyline and non-stop action packed thrills.And the fact that you can make your own map is a nice touch.This also is a game that you can let your anger out on because you can blow the snot(and screws)out of your enemies.Although the game is a bit tough, heck I'LL give 5 stars!*****BUY THIS GAME WAR FANS!!!

Do you like Starcraft or the tabletop game Warhammer 40,000 if you like either of those this game is perfect for you and you don't even get paint on your fingers (for those who play warhammer40k)! The game more resembles Warhammer 40k than starcraft but it's still close to starcraft. If you can imagine Starcraft with limited movement and turns thats what this game is. The game gets extremely hard when you get up into the Kanbei missions. In the game you are an Advisor to a CO (commanding officer) you choose. every CO has a special power. Andy, the CO you start with has the ability to repair all units by 2 HP (hit points). Other CO powers do damage to all your units or give their units a power boost or make them move farther ETC. If you disliked the fog of war in starcraft you'll hate it even more in this game. And the CO you'll hate the most is Eagle his power makes all units move and attack twice!...

After having played my friend's copy of this game, without hesitation I went online and bought myself one. Advance Wars is, undoubtedly, the greatest strategy game I have ever played. But even moreso, it is an outstanding multiplayer game. The unique "pass it around" system, in which each person gets a turn but doesn't know what each other is doing is quite rewarding, as it adds twists and turns so that, for example, after three people complete their turns, you see how the battle unfolds and then have to react to it. One great thing about this game is the fact that new commanders, each with special abilities can be opened up, so that the game always retains its great new fun! I strongly recommend the game, as it is a great asset to any real gamer's collection!

advance wars is a great game! Control your own army and play in three great versions: first is field training this is how you learn to play ,second is vs mode this is where you do a bunch of differnt missions, and finally third: this is where you can link up with up to four friends for the ultiment battle! Well ive told you all i could not to spoil it. If you dreamed of commanding your own army buy this game!!!

Advance Wars is one of the best GBA games mad to date. It is a strategic turned base game using tanks, planes, helicopters, artilery and infantry. Not only is there a campaign mode, but there is also a multiplayer mode that you can play with 1 game and one GBA.

A MUST buy for any GBA collection.
