I'd buy it ...

I just bought Advance Wars, even though some of my friends dissed it saying, "It's just not that exciting." Well, they must have been high. If you had the money to buy a GBA and one game only, I'd get a GBA (duh) and Advance Wars. My only complaints are that there is a fairly long learning curve, the somewhat-cutsie anime box-art doesn't scream "tanks and bombers are my friends," and that...okay, two complaints. The PS2 has Metal Gear Solid 2, the Dreamcast has Jet Grind Radio, the PC has Counter-Strike, and the GBA has Advance Wars. "Why should I pay ... for this??" I just answered that question...

Advance Wars is a great game. This is a very hard game. if you can't finish the training mission this game is not for you. you'r parents probably will not like it because you will stay up till 12:00 playing. If you by this game it's worth the [money].

I got this as a xmas present and i have got to say that it is AWESOME! Its a very nice game that has huge game boards and the game will keep you playing for a long time.It gets really hard to!
THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY FANS OF STRATEGY THAT OWN A GBA!

its a good game if you wana be kept busy.. this was the first game i got for the gba.. still playing it.. its kinda ticking me off tho' cuz i aint too good with these games.. but its good cuz im still playing it unlike some other games i buy for a couple of days and stop playin.. anywho i say this is the best GBA game. for now..

This game was terrible. I don't know why nintendo made this game. This was the worst game I ever played. Nintendo, please do not discrace yourself with another game like this. P.S. There is no action in this game. If you like action games stay away from this game.

I THINK ADVANCE WARS IS THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD. I DON'T HAVE IT BUT ALL OF MY FRIENDS DO. I HAVE PLAYED IT AND I LOVE IT. SOME MISSIONS ARE HARD. YOU JUST HAVE TO BE STATEGIC. I WANT TO BUY IT BUT I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY. I WENT TO A STORE LOOKING FOR THIS GAME AND NONE HAD IT. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT. ITS A REALLY COOL GAME. ANDY IS THE BEST CO IN THE GAME (IM NOT JUST SAYING THAT CAUSE MY NAME IS ANDY). THE GAME IS NOT EVEN VIOLENT.

More advanced then other wars

So I turn on the game and the title screen comes up. I press start and see the training mode and begin to play. The training mode alone is enough to make you drool with with anticipation. I played for hours learning the game. This game has more options then some other games out there (Warcraft). I saw all the different units and saw the greatest thing on there. The ability to play four players without having the link at all! Then I was mad. Where was this programing skill when warcraft came out, huh. Where was the map design that you HAD to take out for some reason even though this hand held nintendo(Basacally what it is) could handle it with ease. This game has chopers, tanks 2 kinds,subs, Battle ships, artillery, infintry,recon,fighter jets,bombers... I'm running out of breath trying to name all the different units. Not to mention the terrain and weather conditions that speed up or slow down your movement. This game is more fun then a game by square that got rushed: Bouncer. Advanced Wars probably sold more copys too. This game is what you get when you put time and effort in the production of your games and when you imagine yourself playing it(Which I know they did more than imagine playing it). You also get to pick a gerneral that has a power that you can use in battle. Like Andy, the general that repairs units all his units on the whole board. I tell you this game is the best by far. Right up next to Castlevania: Circle of the moon. So, to the creators of Advanced Wars give yourself a pat on the back and know that I will be watching the games you put out and so will so many others.

Well it really isnt that great it actually totally stinks, IF YOU BELIVE THAT THEN YOU ARE A TOTAL LOON!! It is by far the best game ever on the game boy advance system. It features dozens of levels each witch are insanly fun and challenging.

Dont buy this game! It is horrible! The cartoons look like an ages 2 and up board game. It is ditsy, dinky, and silly. Go buy a REAl strategy game. This stinks.
