Possible the the most greatest racing ever...

Tough, i only tryed the PS2 version, but i can imagine that the DC and PS2 is just the same game. Tough, the graphics is not of Gran Turismo 3 value, this game rocks! It has a original game concept (something we havent seen in a racing game for a long time). The game is based upon the street racers of Tokyo, and how they race. You run around in the highways of Tokyo, using your lights to signal the desired opponoment you wish to race against, and if that opponoment accepts, its pedal-to-the-medal baby. Not only are capable to tune the engine and power of the veichle, but also to tune the looks of it with side skirts, wings and new tyres. Trust me... TXR is one of kind... It's both fun, addicting and entertaining. But, dont rely on the multiplayer tough, cause that part is really lame. Also the music could have been ten times better.

TXR is a superb buy you'll never run bored by...

I think this game is great. The only 2 things i dont like about the game: one of them is that it is just kind of the same thing because you only get to race on one track one track i also think the handeling is kinda wacked, but other wise i think it is a great game, the graphics are unbelievable, and the detail on the customly tuned cars are great. There are many cars to get so i guess the fun of making your car look cool makes up for the one track.

This game is great! possibly the best racing game ever. With 60 frames per second the graphics are incredible. I played games like sega gt and stuff but they're nothing TOKYO EXTREME RACER. What much more can I say this game is incredible. The handling is great,you can get incredible speed,you race people on the freeway how often do you do that. Over all I give this game 5 stars.

When you first play this game all you do is "race", no special effects!The worst part is that the tires look like if you were stuck in mud. Not That smooth, In a way,this game is the worst dreamcast title yet, the graphics and environment are pretty good, but whats the use in there are no " special effects".
Sure , the price is [inexpensive] for [money]. This game is awful!

This is a cool game with pretty good graphics and some nice cars. the only thing i dont like is there is only one track. Its cool if you know how to play it but if you dont than its not really that fun.

This is the best looking racing title so far on any system and it has a bunch of cars to choose from. Though it isn't in the category of a sim racing game (my fav) it is still addictive enough to warrant purchasing it.

The only drawbacks in the game are the walls, no matter how many upgrades are put onto a car the wall still manages to make winning races impossible.

Anyone who likes sim racing titles may not care for this game so much, since many of the opponents cut you off or brake so you ram them giving them a speed boost. In any event this game is fun, and it will keep you busy for many hours.

What can I say...the graphics in this game are the best I've ever seen in a racing game. Once your race is complete, check out the replay, it's worth it! The cars are nice, good upgrades, and it provides a challenge. The bad thing about this game is the point of the whole thing is retarded. The cars are also a little bit hard to control...but the graphics more than make up for it. This game really doesn't showcase the Dreamcast, but it's still nice to play. Only one track on the whole game...
