When I got this game I was really frusterated at first. At the first part of this game you will get caught in a bunch of zombies DON'T try to kill them just run away the opposite way you came also you may consider getting a guide because this game is very tricky. If you really stink at it or just want to have fun get a gameshark so you can have unlimitted ammo If you cant get a gameshark conserve your ammo and avoid killing zombies, just dodge them. This games graphics are awsome and although the gameplay can be a little sloppy you should be able to master it soon. don't believe the other reviews that say bad things. The people who wrote them obviosly didnt try to hard at it.

Graphics wise this game is awesome. The control is easy to get used to and it is fun.
The problems with this game begin early on. The main problem is the puzzles and bosses. There are many times when you will get stuck because you didn't move some block 8 hours ago, of course you can't go back so your only alternative is to start over. Very frustrating.
Graphics: 9/10
Sound: 7/10
Fun: 7/10

This is the best game I have ever played, hands down, no exceptions. Compared to others RE's, the origin of the story is the same with familiar characters, but now with new crazy twists. Horror was the theme of RECVX's predecessors, but now we find out why. I was aghast at the weird plotline. I may have been mentally scarred forever. Make sure there is someone you trust nearby when you play this one, especially at night, or you won't be able to play for long. This story blows away sony's silent hill or parasite eve. Graphics are stunningly realistic with great accessories, just make sure you save a lot if you don't know where the character changes are. Items can be carried over between Claire and Chris (the siblings involved), via the item box which must just teleport items between locations....I don't care it sure is handy.
If you don't have this one already, you are a fool, or a new gamer. The best game I have ever played!!!
This game will make you scream!! (Out of frustration)

Okay, so I had just barely gotten out of the prison area after nearly being devoured by zombies and killer dogs. I'm nearing the entrance to the next area, the Palace. I had used up nearly all my ammo on the three zombies who attacked me simultaneously. Those @$%# zombies take so many hits before they go down, you'll end up using a whole handgun clip on one of them. So I sneak past the zombies at the top of the stairs then enter the gate to the next screen. There, I get mauled by three killer dogs, and I ran out of ammo shooting the first one so I'm fighting three bloodthirsty dogs with just my knife. I die. Since I wasn't able to make it to a save point, I have to start all over way back inside the prixon complex. At that point, I threw my controller to the floor and turned the game off. Could Capcom have made this game just a little bit more difficult? Sheeesh. It's not enough that the controls are clunky to begin with, but they have to make the game excruciatingly hard as well?
It's a good game, yes. Graphics, sound, and story are all top notch. The control is consistently annoying however, and the difficulty level will make you want to pull your hair out.
If you're looking for a challenge, here you go.

This didnt have the best plot as the other res do, but was a hell of alot challanging. Your Claire Redfield looking for your brother Chris Redfield. You meet Steve Burnquist who eventually dies im sorry to say. I dont wanna spoil any more but anyway, Your main goal is to survive on the umbrella base owned by Miss Veronica. She is the master of all the ashfords which are a family of very wealthy people. Youll meet Alexia and Alfred. They are deadly so becareful. The graphics are the best part. Youll see a world of reality when you first see the first fmv. The Plot is good but not the best. And the handgun you get as your first weapon, lol sux. But you will not be dissapointed when you first turn the game on. You also will play as Chris Later in the game so have fun while the game lasts.

When I bought code: veronica i was an amateur with resident evil game, but after playing two discs of resident evil pleasure, i can beat any resident evil game. Gaming is my profession, so the game wasnt too hard to beat for me, but it would be, on a scale of 1-10, the hardness is an 8, for average gamer, so be resident evil experienced befor you buy this great game, but other than that, the game is excellent, so the $$ doesnt matter, the game play is worth it!
Code Veronica is a frustrating and boring game

Now I know most of you probably disagree with me but seriously, how in the hell can you enjoy a game that is filled with constant backtracking and frustrating/confusing puzzles?!
Out of all the RE's, Veronica definently has the most frustrating and confusing gameplay, which leads to boring gameplay. Now don't get we wrong, the game does have its share of cool surprises, movies, and scenes but it still falls flat on its face.
But if theres one thing Veronica does great, its the graphics. Hands down, this is the best looking RE game out there. The characters look realistic and the zombies are very detailed... enough to think they are real at times.
Veronica also has good sound. The "music" sets the "scary mood" of the game and the sound effects are pretty good as well. But the character voice overs, like always, are absolutely pathetic. It has improved a little bit, but its still ....
The controls aren't that hard to get used to to. But the problem is that Veronica doesn't have the dodge ability! The only thing you got is the 180 degree turn. I have no idea why it was takin out.
Now for more complaining...
Veronica simply isn't scary. It can be at times, but usually it just feels "same ol same ol". The game system is still the same as well, so you should be pretty familiar with it. But sometimes it's just a little too familiar. I wish Capcom could have done something new for a change. My last complaint is the lack of ammo, healing items, and weopons. Throughout the game, you will occasionaly find yourself stuck in bad situations with no ammo or healing items. Sometimes you will even be stuck at bosses with no ammo, or the right weopon. And on top of that, the game only allows you to empty your inventory at the item boxes, and there aren't that many. You can't drop an item or anything.
Okay, so overall I pretty much... hated this game. It's simply not as good as the other RE's. The frustrating puzzles, endless backtracking, lack of items, ammo, and weopons, bad voice acting, familiar gameplay, and same game system make this game one hell of a ... experience... If you are like a hardcore fan of the RE series then I guess you should buy it, but others should stay far, far, far away. Or at least rent it first if you don't believe me.
