2 Great Games for an even better price

I don't want to write a long drawn out review so I'll get straight to the point. These are 2 great RPGs, and for this price it's almost like stealing. They have a very good battle system and a good plot line that draws you in. The only problem with this is that the graphics are bad to todays standards. But as I have always thought graphics dont make a game (usually), so buy this now.

2 in one!

Make sure to play Fallout 1 before you start on Fallout 2. Also, read the book and understand everything before you play or else you'll get really frustrated and stop. BUT DON'T STOP! keep playing and love it, as everyone should! It is, er, they are great games and I am glad that I looked on that shelf and said: "hmmm, whats this game?"(me) "Just hurry up and get it, boyo,"(my dad) and that lead me all the way to Fallout tactics, the next in the line of Fallout games. Really good story and great RPG character developement. Get it and have fun!

I'ts The BEST GAME I ever playd. The game has meny possybilites, because I can choose if I'am Bad or good and the game depends on it.There are great effects and the game has a intresting story. (I LIKE IT) There are many skills,weapons,armors,characters ,quest and I can choose if I make it or not,not like the other games where I MUST COMPLETE the guest to go on. But fev things are unreal,for example when I speak to some one and he needs money to pay someone (200).Then I end the confession and put (100000) in his pocet and I speak to him again. And he says the same thing that he has no money. I think that some one should contact the makers and say FIX IT. I'm 19 years old.

Fallout is a really fun game. The clame that there is grafic sex is a distortion. There is graphic sextual language, (which can be avoided by use of the language filter option), but no graphic sex. there is a similar control for violence. [...]the games spectacular plot, excellent characters, and hilarious political satire. Did I mention the game has great easter eggs? [...]

I only have Fallout 1 but I plan on buying fallout 2 when I beat it. Fallout is awesome and addictive like crazy. One of the best rpgs out there.

Speaking as an avid RPG gamer, let me just add briefly that these are the best role playing games that have been created to date. You can be any kind of person you want; you can do almost anything you want, and the games give you the freedom to "live" inside the scummy world that these guys have created. These games are fun over, and over, and over again; this could be the best money you ever spend!

I have played both the demo and full game for both fallout and fallout 2, they are the best RPG games around (Other then Fallout: Tactics of course)

Fallout 2 is simply the best RPG I have ever played. Forget Arcanum or Balder's Gate 2, this has the longest most fluid story ever created for an RPG. The action interface is intuitive and gives a lot of options. One downside is that it would be nice to have better control over NPCs in your party. For $... bundled with the original Fallout its a real steal that any gamer who hasn't tried one or both should grab immediately. Fallout in itself is a great game and Fallout 2 just adds a little more style and polish that really push it over the edge. Trust me

Even with the dated sketchy graphics, these games are fun as hell.
Windows NT/2000 users: Fallout 1 does NOT work on NT-based OS's. Only Fallout 2 does. But get this package anyway, since at the price, a 10 year old babysitter could afford it and still have money left over for a cheeseburger. Five buck apiece for two of the greatest RPG's ever made.

Any RPG fan who doesn't buy this set is missing out on a fantastic deal. I couldn't believe the price when I bought it in the stores, and the games provided hours and hours of fun - even for a girl who normally prefers fantasy to apocolyptic settings.
